Yolanda planned my sister's baby shower it was so beautiful and outstanding. She was very mature and responsible and got everything done on time. I would definitely hire her again for another event.

Yolanda did an excellent and magnificent job as a party planner for my brother's birthday party. Not only did she follow all the instructions and guidelines for the party, but she went above and beyond to make sure the party was a success. She was also very professional and I will not forget all that she has done. I highly recommend to hire Yolanda as a party planner and would definitely hire her again.

We spoke about her coming around 5 to do my games the day before. Then I confirmed earkier that day with mo problems even though she said she had an open house & would be a lil late. I call her at 6 to see where she was she was still in the Bronx & didn't know what to do. She was in the car with someone else trying to see if she'll still make it. So I told her never mind after she said then she can't do it at the last minute . Luckily I had 2 games already & my friends knew games & we still had a ball. I find it very ghetto tacky & unprofessional that I had to call yo find out she wasn't coming instead of her just telling me that morning. I could have had a professional do it for me. I wouldn't recommend her to anybody til she gets it together & not to book a party the same day she has another event going on.

We hired for my daughters first birthday party. She did a great job with the dinner table. But if somebody is looking for purely professional and hassle free party then she is not the one. We were trying to reach her from the day before till the event time but no avail. We were not even sure she would turn up!!! When we asked her why she did not pick up the call, she said she was struck in traffic!! I was constantly in touch with her almost 2 weeks before the event. We had sent her the pics of every possible thing we want and we had a tough time getting her to agree on those. We just wanted a white screen and my daughters name in the balloon as a backdrop for cake table. On the day when we reached the venue she says she did not get anything like that! She had agreed she would have games but then there were none reason being she ran out of money which she informed us just before the start of event!!!! She said there would be a pinata which she didn't get and not to forget she was late. She was still doing last minute things when guests had already arrived. Definitely not easy to work with.

This client was very difficult to work with. It first started with the pricing. i'm an affordable party planner and they wanted lower then what I was offering. I knew I would not be able to do what they want from the beginning. I even told them that they will not be able to have everything done with the low budget they gave me. Comes the party day, I had previously given them my house phone, so of course I cannot answer my house phone if I'm on my way to the venue. After I finished decorating they were upset and angry even though I told them from the beginning their budget did not cover everything and I did the best I could with their budget. I didn't even profit from their party, I used all the money on decorations. Then comes another problem with them was that they didn't pay me until four days after the party. They had first wired me $50 for the decorations and then I put my own $50 up to make it the $100 which we agreed upon to get all the decorations. They never paid me the other half of the $50 that I had put up. I had to contact Thumbtack to get on them about paying me the other half of the money. very difficult clients, never would work with them again. Didn't want to pay up!

I work with a ALL budgets. You get what you pay for. Whether you have a little or a lot of money to spend, I will do my absolute best to make whatever I'm planning for amazing.

Yes, I'm online all the time looking at the lastest trends. Also I'm going to college soon, to further my education.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided that I didn't want to work for anyone, so I started my own business. I enjoy decorating and planning p, so I said why not start my own event/party business'.
