Introduction

GUITAR LESSONS: With more then a decade experience, I have been teaching Guitar to students of ages 5 to 55. I also perform Solo Guitar for private events - Weddings, corporate events, birthdays, etc. Be sure to watch my first video to get an idea of my repertoire! In my lessons, you can learn from playing your favorite rock songs, to playing Flamenco guitar with right-hand technique. By learning the correct techniques, you will find guitar playing to be easier then you thought. Over the course of the lessons, we will constantly focus on the best ways to achieve your goals. My primary passion is sharing all I can about the guitar and music that I've learned over the years, traveling and studying. I love seeing my students progress, and watching their love for music grow.

James is a great instrumentalist and teacher. He is well versed in many styles but he really helped me with my interest in Spanish guitar. I look forward to keep going with my guitar lessons and learn more from him.

I am extremely satisfied to have chosen James as my teacher, as an adult beginner I had no idea where to start, I wanted to do it all at once. James laid out a plan and guided me through every step so far. He has thought me how to read music while keeping class exciting with right hand strumming and finger picking techniques. As an adult beginner I had many doubts about starting classes, James energy in class is encouraging and allows me to keep my mind and ears open, his constant feedback is delivered clearly and timely.

I am very satisfied and happy that I chose James as my teacher. The energy he brings to every class is awesome. I started as a beginner/intermediate player and had a hang of open and barre chords. I can definitely say that I am a better player than I was a month back. Each class we would dedicate some time to learning song and I would come up with new songs. James transcribed all those songs and taught me. It was a really fun experience.
