Introduction: I am a yoga teacher with more than ten years of teaching experience. I draw on my academic and professional background in anatomy and biological science as well as my expertise in functional anatomy, biomechanics, and postural analysis to offer a practice that is specific to your individual body. I engaged Admed to teach yoga to a group of girls of varying yoga experience as part of a weekend long bachelorette party, and Ahmed could not have been a more perfect fit! Ahmed was respectful and professional. We loved how his yoga teaching incorporated the occasion (a bride to be) and appeared to be flexible enough to react fluidly and effortlessly to what he observed from our practice (i.e., if something looked too challenging, modifying it, or if something went well, growing on that) and environment (a rooftop outdoors with short yoga mats provided by the building). We all enjoyed ourselves and felt like we had a very meaningful mind-body experience. Truly, the girls gushed about what a wonderful experience our yoga session was because of Ahmed. We all wholeheartedly recommend him as a yoga instructor.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am and Yoga Alliance ERYT (experienced registered yoga teacher) with 300hr of yoga teacher training certification.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was hit by a car few years ago and the accident destroyed my knee. After 3 surgeries and years of physical therapy I still wasn't satisfied with my recovery. That's when I started my yoga practice. Seeing how it improved my physical strength and mobility as well as my psyche, confidence and sense of calm - I decided to become a yoga teacher to share its benefits with others.
