Working from home for the past 8 months has made me stir-crazy. I decided I needed a hobby. I had an old acoustic guitar that was gathering dust. I had tried to learn to play on my own years ago by reading a book, but gave up quickly. It didnt take long to realize that playing the guitar requires hand manipulations that are at times completely foreign to the human body. Tony pretty much showed me that I was taking the wrong approach from the start. What I appreciated the most is that Tony was able to guide me to getting to a point in just a couple of sessions where I could actually play something recognizable. Tony is a nice guy, very knowledgeable, respectful, and PATIENT (thank god).Oct 22, 2020

I'm an amateur guitar player trying to take my skills to the next level, and Tony has been the perfect teacher. I have a basic musical foundation, and have spent years noodling on the guitar without taking it too seriously; Tony's expertise and teaching skills have been a perfect match for my goals. It's not just that he's a great player, but a great teacher. He knows how practice works, how the brain works, how best to get your fingers to overcome obstacles, how to explain things about music theory, and re-explain them in a different way if the first way isn't clicking. He's very responsive to what you're doing and the questions you're asking.Aug 31, 2020

Tony is a great teacher. He is kind and caring, and his passion for music and attention to detail in his lessons create a dynamic space for learning. He is flexible and generous with his time, and attentive to the interests of his students. Would highly recommend to any and all of my friends.Aug 30, 2020

Tony is amazing. He is a wonderful teacher because he is nice and very determined to making me an amazing player. He gets as excited as I do about playing and that makes me feel inspired and motivated! Please book a lesson with Tony :)Jul 1, 2020

Tony is not only my favorite guitar/music theory teacher but also my favorite guitar player. He has taught me so much over the years as well as teaching me to teach myself. He is an empath and it shows in his teaching. Whether you are a beginner or brushing up on your chops he will have an infinite amount of things to show you with the patience of a saint.Jun 27, 2020
