I am a guitarist, producer, bassist, and drummer with a B.S. in jazz guitar and 9+ years of teaching experience. My teaching style is based on experimentation, compassion, self-examination, in-depth analysis, and giving students the tools needed to teach themselves. I base my curriculum on you as an individual and the music you love. I cover songwriting, live looping, style fluency, tone, music production, soloing, improvisation, incorporating jazz melodies and chords, fingerpicking, neuroscience-based practice techniques, and more. Genre is not a question for me. I am equally comfortable producing trap beats as I am playing fingerstyle, death metal, blues, indie folk, or jazz. I give students custom tabs and music as well as a regularly updated document of resources and lesson reviews. I am also available outside of lessons if you have questions.
