Darcy Budworth Design

Introduction: I am originally from Portland, Oregon, I have been living the New York City life for almost 10 years! I moved to NY to study interior design and architecture at Pratt Institute, where I fell in love with clean modern design. In the early years, I interned for two of the top residential designers in the city, Ghislaine Vinas Interior Design and Shamir Shaw. During these valuable years, I realized that having a little fun with color and textures is absolutely necessary! Since then, I have continued to work with some of the city's leading designers and design firms, including West Chin Architecture and Cetra Ruddy. They have given me experience working on noteworthy restaurants, multi-family residential buildings, and a dabble of hotel design and event staging in New York, throughout the states and abroad. Not one to forget my roots, I continue to work independently on residential design and design staging, as I love to help others find their own design style in creating a comfortable home and environment.
