- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To honor social distancing protocols, coaching sessions are exclusively offered remotely. Sessions are typically one-hour long. I offer either 3-month or 6-month packages to meet your needs and budget as well as a variety of payment options and methods. For full disclosure of prices, packages, and payment options, I encourage you to visit my website and select the “Life Coaching” menu option for details. I am also available for a 15-minute complimentary consultation, for which you can also sign-up on my website.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Here’s how we’ll start: We can schedule a complimentary 30-minute session or you can begin by completing an Intake form, both of which you can do on my website or by contacting me directly. Once you've submitted the Intake form, we'll have a focused conversation to identify your needs/goals, discuss fees and payments, establish a schedule, and address any of your concerns. The next step is to actually begin what we hope will become a productive coaching partnership. Since effective coaching is based on a solid relationship, our first meeting will be a longer session to help us get to know each other. Then we’ll take adequate time to clarify the goals you’d like to work on, review the Welcome Packet especially the Coaching Agreement, and spend the remainder of our session engaging in coaching towards realizing your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional certified coach, having earned my certification from the International Coach Academy (ICA), an accredited training program affiliated with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the goal standard in professional coaching. In addition, as an empowerment coach, my mission is to power my client' greatness to more fully reveal the gift of who they are. The principle of empowerment has been foundational in my own life and indeed, in my esteemed career as a NYC public school educator and math consultant of 25 years. These professional roles afforded me critical opportunities to “sharpen the saw”—refine my skill sets in facilitation and communication, especially “crucial conversations,” to unearth both student and teachers’ needs, challenges, belief systems, mindsets, and attitudes that impacted the work of teaching and learning. I bring to bear all these experiences and skill sets, along with my coaching training, in my engagement with clients.
