I hired this handyman to come put a project together for me and the handyman said send the address and then turned around and called me and said I forgot I had to go put a project together for someone else which was very disappointing then called me back hours later saying he's available and tried to charge me even more money so the project didn't get doneDec 27, 2017VerifiedTG Platinum Installations LLC's reply
Mr I understand you’re upset the project couldn’t get done but that’s not true. I told you I charge hourly and then your were perfectly fine with me coming later on. You said you prefer a flat rate and I gave you what my flat rate was.so you said that was too much for you . I pretty fair and affordable when giving customers a price. Thank you, have a nice day!
Travis is a great hire for handyman projects and comes with a buddy to get the job done faster. They even tackled 2 other small projects while they were here too!Oct 9, 2017Verified
Travis was super flexible, nice, and professional. Our window shade and plant hooks look amazing, and we'd definitely hire him again.Oct 3, 2019Verified
Punctual and very professional. Did a great job mounting my entertainment system. Would recommend and use again.Sep 18, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For moving we charge an hourly rate. We do have an extra fee for the truck, disassembly/reassembly and also moves without an elevator.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The process of working with a new customer is we discuss the project. We agree on a price that works best. After that the customer must send a booking request to secure the job. This just confirms the job and prevents any over booking.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started working for my Uncle’s demolition company. After a while a branched off and started doing moving as a second job. I also was very handy. I always liked fixing things and putting things together. I gained a lot of joy from doing so.
