FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is determined by the location and the number of people training. For a trainer to travel to the client's home or office and train one-on-one, we charge $70 per session. For the trainer to meet the client in one of our garage gyms, we charge $60 per session. When clients train in groups we offer special discounted rates of $34 to $40 per session depending on how many sessions the client purchases.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we conduct a fitness assessment, during which we have a ten to fifteen minute conversation with the client to get a sense of his or her medical history and any known physical limitations, the client's current goals and the client's fitness journey thus far. Once we have a sense of all of that, we'll work through some basic movements to get a sense of the new client's current fitness level and any muscular imbalances we'll want to address to prevent injury and improve functional strength. From the fitness assessment, we'll design that client's program and make some nutritional recommendations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each of us is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, some of us with multiple certifications in treating joint pain, nutrition, Yoga and sports performance. We come from various backgrounds, such as gymnastics, yoga studios and the Marine Corps. We also spend several hours a week together on an ongoing basis continuing our education together by sharing research we're collecting from various sources and sharing the effectiveness of any new ideas we've been testing with our clients.
