Joey Auch has been helping me to record, write, and produce my upcoming EP. Anytime I read reviews I always take notice of any red flags such as overly negative or extremely positive reviews. I hope that my review does not seem suspect due to my enthusiasm and unwavering confidence in Joeys talent. If you are seriously looking for THE producer to help create whatever it is you're looking for, I have no reservations that Joey is your guy. Simply put, he is a genius without any of the ego you typically find with such talented producers. He is an accomplished musician who not only plays several instruments, but he is also a fantastic singer and songwriter and is extremely humble about his talents. I have had the opportunity to work with other producers, singers, and songwriters and comparatively speaking, Joey is can be considered the producer "par-excellence - one who is comfortable working with an artist regardless of how concrete his or her vision is and how experienced he or she may be. He can intuitively extrapolate the artist's vision while still, as I have experienced, patiently take the time needed to push and encourage the artist to achieve a new levels of skill, thereby helping create and tease out an even better sound, product, and song. Simply put, Joey will work miracles with whatever you, as an artist, may have in mind.

I've worked on several songs with Joey and not only is he a great producer/cowriter but he's a great guy as well! He really listens to the artist when they tell him what they want but is also great at coming up with fresh new ideas when the artist isn't so sure. He's never finished with something until he really feels like it's his best work and that's really important in a producer/cowriter. He knows what he's doing and he's really fun to work with!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different and the scope of our service can vary greatly from Artist to Artist. I only work with artists I think I can help succeed in achieving their goals. Let's have a conversation. If I decide to make you an offer it will be based on providing you with everything you need to achieve your goals.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It varies from Artists to Artist. Some people come with a fully fleshed out song ready to record. Others require more feedback and editing or songwriting assistance. Ultimately we let the Artist and the song lead the way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been writing songs and producing music for over 20 years. Over the course of my career I have worked in numerous professional studios across the country and have run two companies; one composing and producing music for Commercials, TV & Film and the other doing artist development. I am constantly exploring new approaches to my craft as keeping my tools up to date is crucial. In addition, I work with several writing teams and am constantly sourcing new material for artists. There is so much undiscovered music out there so I commit myself daily to just setting aside time to listen to new artists and bands. I work tirelessly to stay current with industry trends in equipment, recording techniques and sounds. I have a network of industry professional who I trust to keep me in the loop for what the brands and music supervisors are looking for.
