- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on location, time of appointment, floor fees, etc., lesson prices and packages are negotiable. Just ask! :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! Taking lessons, workshops, getting coached and staying educated is essential for what I do. It is very important to keep up with what's new and popular but still staying true to the roots.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Jessica Ann Nail (JesAnn) has been a mover and a shaker since the young age of 3. She studied solo dances, gymnastics, and competitive cheerleading through high school. -In 2005, JesAnn joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Houston, Tx where she taught and competed American Ballroom for 6 yrs. -West Coast Swing (WCS), a fun partner dance, caught her attention in late 2010 because of the improvisation, musicality, and freedom WCS offers. She continues to learn and grow as she travels all over the world teaching, judging, DJing, performing and competing on the WCS circuit. -JesAnn took her first yoga class back in 2000 where she began to develop a strong connection between the physical and spiritual self. After taking classes as a student for 16 years, she decided to add yoga to her teaching repertoire and got a 200 hour YTT certificate from Loom Yoga Center in Brooklyn, NY. -In 2017 she joined Dancing Classrooms NY as a Teaching Artist, teaching Ballroom to 4th and 5th graders in public schools in NYC.
