Introduction: Hi there! Autumn here - thanks so much for checking out my services! To start off, I’m energetic, grounded, passionate, and warm and my top priority is to make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and supported in our work together.
I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher and nutritionist with 5 years of experience teaching yoga and nutrition. I am also a meditator - I incorporate meditation into my yoga instruction and am also available to teach meditation on its own.
I also have a strong academic background in the wellness space. I hold my masters in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
My main goals are to help you feel happier and more comfortable in your own skin and learn how to listen to, strengthen, and accept your body.
I own mendinground nutrition and yoga with my business partner, Jasmine Hormati, where we offer private and group yoga classes geared towards every ability level with specialties in yin and vinyasa, and provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling focused on intuitive eating and letting go of diet culture in favor of sustainable lifestyle changes.
I am aligned with Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size, which means the focus is on working towards health through learning to trust yourself around food and movement and practicing body acceptance. Working together, we will develop tools so that you can feel happier and more comfortable in your own skin.
If you choose to work with me, we will start by understanding your goals, preferences, and challenges. I am always open to feedback and insight and also have much to share from my years of training and experience. My passion for my work is pretty contagious, and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to share it with you.
I also hold 30 hour yoga anatomy and yin certifications as well as my Reiki 1 certification.
