Buffalo Tango

Introduction: Tango, tango, tango... that's all there is... that's all one needs... if they can handle it. We brought Argentine tango to WNY in 2005 by holding years of free lessons and tango dances (milongas) in downtown Buffalo every Sunday evening. We proceeded on to holding major tango festivals involving the Albright Knox, The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, art park, imported tango orchestras, world-famous tango instructors, and more. I've been learning, teaching, and dancing true Argentine tango since 1994 and know it inside out. It's an improvisational street dance, but other instructors have come in, since about 2007, and now teach an easier and (more lucrative to them) 'American' Argentine Tango. I continue to give private lessons to those who want to learn true Argentine tango... how it was meant to be danced... how to become one on the tango floor.
