Introduction: Find help with your problems from your home. I am a licensed clinical social worker living and practicing in New York. I received a master of social work degree from Florida International University. I have worked in Florida as a milieu therapist on a children;s psychiatric unit, and as an intake coordinator for a local children's hospital. I have also worked for several different mental health agencies in Florida and New York including Children's Psychiatric Center, Guardian Ad Litem, Unitas St. Mark Place, New Alternatives for Children, The Shield Institute, and WORC. I provide individual therapy, play therapy with children, couples therapy, and family and group therapy. I am an expert in the use of structured teaching and psychotherapy with children and adults with autism, as well as training staff in child development and best practices in the field. I have presented at conferences throughout New York State on the use of visual supports in order to help children and adults with autism. I have also consulted with different agencies, and worked closely with parents in the home and school. I currently operate my own private practice.
