After participating in Ryan’s 6-week rock band program, our son (11 years old) started taking private guitar lessons with him. Ryan’s positive energy, love and knowledge of music, and attention to detail and technique make our son’s time with him both incredibly fun and productive. We are thrilled and impressed by just how much our son is learning and just how excited he is about the whole process. We couldn’t ask for more!

I had been playing guitar on my own for about 15 yrs. At my first lesson Joe asked me to play something, saw where I was in my ability and tailors my lessons to my skill level. He has Great attention to detail. Joe not only corrected my strumming technique immediately but explained why and demonstrated how the correct way is more effective. Joe also plays in 2 local bands which allows his students the ability to go see him peform. Great Teacher!!!!

Dennis is wonderful at helping me accomplish the goals I’ve set for myself and I highly recommend him as a music teacher. Although I’m not a guitar student, I’ve had Dennis work with me to help develop my skills with jazz. He makes lessons both interesting and challenging yet never leaves me feeling discouraged or feeling that that something is too difficult. I love that he gives me many strategies for learning new pieces, for developing my ear, and for improving my competence as a jazz musician (rhythmically, technically, harmonically, etc). I especially like that everything we work at gets applied in the context of playing real tunes – nothing is ever given in isolation without going on to the application of the skill during the lesson. I’ve been working with Dennis for 3 years now and continue to look forward to each lesson with him.

Jesse was absolutely amazing for my wedding. We were married in upstate New York at one of the national parks there, and really wanted an outdoor ceremony and a nice rendition of our song (Hello I'm In Delaware by City&Color) for that. Jesse learned the song in days and his playing is absolutely beautiful. He also had to contend with the weather which was monsooning right up to the start of the ceremony. I was so preoccupied with willing it to stop raining that I completely forgot about instructing or worrying about the music. Thankfully he took care of everything and was ready and playing before the rain had fully stopped. I cannot express how beautiful his playing is and how nice it was to not even have to worry about that one part of the event! All of our guests requested his information during the cocktail hour, and just loved the ambiance he set. He's also a huge bargain compared to other wedding musicians. You get a lot of bang for your buck! Would definitely recommend him!

      About

I am a guitar teacher based out of Syracuse, NY. I have novice knowledge of guitar technique and theory. Whether you're looking to just learn some chords to play on your acoustic guitar around the camp fire, learn how to improvise with your friends in a jam session, learn about guitar theory and technique, or just want to increase your overall ability to learn and play music, I'm here to teach you. I've wanted to start teaching guitar to people a while ago, but could never really find a place to get started. I’m motivated and very interested in teaching what I think is an amazing art to anyone and everyone who wants to learn. Starting from the time I’ve written this, I’ve played guitar coming on 6 years now. I'm very dedicated to my art, and I love the feeling of showing other people that they can harness the power of music in their hands. It's a very good feeling to express yourself this way, plus it makes you look kind of cool.

      About

I offer aspiring musicians expert guidance through the often confusing first stages of learning an instrument. I will walk you the process of finger development, and technique (which most teachers neglect). I take pride in getting my students to reach their "a-ha" moments concerning chord, scales, and harmonic theory. Learn how to play your favorite songs, jam tastefully, or even write your own music!

      About

I am teaching guitar lessons to students who are serious about learning guitar the right way and who are ready to commit themselves to practice every day. Each lesson will include a little music theory, rudiments, and eventually learning songs. Beginners should be building hand strength now, especially in the left hand.

I'm 25 years old, work five days a week. I was from China. I admires musicians who can play guitar well. I have not had any systematic training on guitar or in music. I can play some simple notes on a guitar, but not any chords. I wish to learn guitar so that it can be something i enjoy to do in my spare time, and hopefully one day entertain myself and impress my friend.
