Shikhar's Guitar Lessons

Introduction: Hello! I'm a local musician from Ithaca, NY, available to teach guitar lessons. I have over 10 years of experience playing guitar in a professional rock band as well as writing songs in different styles such as folk/blues/rock/progressive rock/metal/electronica. In addition to teaching guitar, I am able to instruct students on how to integrate computer programs such as Ableton Live 8 or MainStage 2 into their live setup. These programs allow the modern musician to sculpt and design virtually any soundscape. The main focus is to teach students the basics of guitar technique, rhythm and the use of new technology for composing songs. Songwriting is a great form of self-discovery and therapy.
