Alex is an excellent trainer. I went to Alex after I had twins to try and get back in shape and he was great to work with - he created a training which included cardio and weights which allowed me to get back in shape and get my stamina back in a sustainable way. Alex is also very professional, always on time, super nice and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.
Anna is a wonderful person and so personable. She listens to your goals that you want to achieve by a certain amount of time. She also pushes you to be better within workouts during the weeks. Very professional and highly recommended.
I was initially hesitant to do the personal trainer route because I've always managed to stay, more or less, in decent shape. But after working with Karoliina for the past few months, I've noticed a big difference in the way I feel: More energy, better posture and a different kind of strength and conditioning than I'm accustomed. With me, Karoliina's focused on both diet and exercise, targeting weaknesses while working up plans to make slight tweaks in lifestyle that have brought my body to higher level of performance. I would give more than 5 stars if that is possible. I've met many trainers in NYC but Brett is by far the best Personal Trainer you can find. He is experienced, caring and flexible. He caters all his workouts to your exact needs and will deliver on results as long as you stick with him.

Rafael was great at constantly working with me and motivating me. Work has me on the road extensively. So, it was important for me to work with someone who could constantly adapt my workout and diets to account for the changing environments. Rafael scripted workouts for the gym, when I was home; for free weights when I was in a hotel; even plyometric/bands when I was off on a cruise. At the end of it all, Rafael taught me how to nourish and train my body so I can always maximize the results of any program I pursue.
My wife and I are so glad to have found Link fitness! The workouts are intense and fun. They are for every level. We just know this is our choice of workout. Plus, Link is a great motivator and knows his stuff!
My experience with Ms. Antoine was very rewarding as well as very informative. I was enrolled in one of her Boot Camp classes and it was amazing. She helped me to accomplish a lot of small goals with exercise routines modified just for me, it made it so easy to keep up. My motivation grew immensely while continuing on the right path to losing weight and eating right, without wanting to drop out because of the intensity. The aches and pains were well worth it, Dailande is an intelligent and hardworking woman who I would recommend to any and everybody. Although I fell behind due to having a child and a busy work schedule I know I can turn to her and get right back on track. Thank you for all your positivity and the mental kick in the butt to stop being lazy and do those burpees, jumping jacks, wall squats and my not so favorite cat walk.

Gillian not only helps you stay motivated, but also teaches you the correct way to use the gym to suit your specific goals. Gillian is very professional but is easy and fun to work with.

Chris has his own unique style of personal training—combining CrossFit with compound with plyometrics. He crafts your workout specific to your goals, flexible in his approach based on your needs. Levar is highly knowledgeable about boxing, both from a conditioning standpoint as well as mental. He has been training for over twenty years—post his professional boxing career. Emma's a wonderful trainer! Enthusiastic without being overbearing or pedantic. Attentive, knowledgable, focused, engaged, and, most importantly, very thoughtful about her mission to get you fit. She really has an intuitive sense of what your body needs, where you're at physically, and how much or how little you need on any given day. And her workouts are definitely not your average workouts! Each day the exercises are very different, not only different muscle groups, but workouts for different goals (stamina, strength, tone, etc). One day you'll be mixing up cardio and strength exercises, the next you'll be doing slow-burn stamina exercises with periodic blasts of boxing. Compound exercises, isometrics, plyometrics, kettle balls, bosu balls, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, skipping rope - she'll throw them all at you. Never, ever monotonous. After two years of training with her, I'm still discovering different ways to engage my body, still becoming more aware of my fitness level on a more holistic level, and I love that! She's pretty nice too. (though telling her that won't get you an easier workout. I tried!) She'll push you, she'll nudge you, she'll will you into better shape. And you're going to love it. The best.
Lloyd Cummings inspires me to workout hard and it makes me want more each time I see a difference in my body. I love weight lifting and when he incorporated Plyometrics in my workout it made me stronger.
I have competed at the highest levels of sports competition, and have trained with many fitness professionals. I can say without a doubt that Jay is hands down the best trainer I have ever worked with. Whether in self defense or in fitness training, he is certified to the highest degrees, and is able to adapt his workouts to any age or fitness level. I have done kettlebell classes, flexibility training, plyometric work, kickboxing, and self defense with Jay. His expertise is second to none, and his classes are an amazing combination of flexibility, strength and cardio training - unlike anything else I've done. Rest assured that students are training with the best of the best when training with Jay. I come out of his classes feeling energized, empowered, confident, and happy. Jay breaks down the movements in his classes so that students can learn proper technique and get maximum benefit. He is very attentive, thorough, demonstrates the moves, and provides feedback and encouragement. In every class I've taken with Jay, I've always felt challenged, which is not easy to find in a trainer. He has a very natural way of pushing students beyond their comfort levels to reach new levels of strength and fitness. This is especially hard to do when the fitness levels in the class vary, so it's a testament to Jay's ability to help everyone improve and be challenged. I have also experienced his training in a one on one environment and his affect is the same - he pushes you to focus, dig deep, and improve yourself every time. I had a bad back for years. After consistently working out in Jay's classes, I have built core strength and increased my flexibility to the point that my back issues are nonexistent. In terms of his self defense program: I am a young female who often travels alone in and around NYC, and to other cities. I have grown more confident since taking self defense lessons with Jay, because I now know how to defend myself. I had never taken anything close to self defense lessons before, and am now hooked! I've learned so much from him, and look forward to my lessons every week. The fitness benefits of his hands-on self defense training are enormous. I have more power, better endurance, greater flexibility, and more core strength. You would be hard pressed to find someone with more expertise in self defense training than Jay. Jay has a heart of gold and genuinely cares about the people he trains. Over the years he has accumulated dozens of loyal trainees who follow him all over NJ just to take his classes - I am proud to be one of them! Thomas is extremely knowledgeable in kinesiology and using exercise to address imbalances in movement and function.
