This service was TOP NOTCH. Not only because they are precise,price is unbeatable, they were on time, attentive to details ( Richard,the exterminator, even made sure to push back my stove to check if there were any holes behind it where roaches could be coming in and there actually were 2 huge ones which he proceeded to seal.) Customer service through the Phone was excellent, Mr McGowan was very pleasant to talk to, he was very curteous and efficent, he even managed to schedule the service for the VERY NEXT DAY which is paramount for your peace of mind when you have a pest problem and want to be able to sleep at Night without having roach related night terrors. My initial experience with Odin was great, until I paid them. In summary: My pest issue was resolved with one treatment, but the quote was for two treatments and I never received the second. Despite repeated contact to the company and Gene, I have yet to receive an accurate invoice or summary of what they did in my apartment. Since they took my money, Customer Service has been terrible: unprofessional and unreliable. The full details: I suspected I had a pest problem and contacted Odin. The quoted price was a low price for an initial inspection, and if the issue was confirmed, a higher rate would be charged which included 2 onsite treatments and a 6 month guarantee. I spoke to Gene multiple times on the phone and was very happy with how attentive, patient and thorough he was - I even told him he seemed to provide a much more hands on and personal approach to business than the larger companies I had spoken to - he assured me this is what Odin strives for. In addition, Gene gave lots of advice for working with my landlord and assured me he would help with documentation so I could get reimbursed from my landlord. I agreed to the terms, paid a deposit and scheduled an appointment. Gene arrived late for the appointment, but was attentive, thorough, and answered my many questions. He confirmed my pest issue, and conducted the full treatment. I paid him the remainder balance via credit card through a secure app on his phone. Gene told me that he'd be in touch the following week to check in and schedule the 2nd treatment. He gave me multiple business cards to share in my building and gave advice for notifying neighbors. I was quite happy at this point, as the treatment worked and we were able to sleep through the night with no pest issues. From there things went downhill: Gene never followed up to confirm the 1st treatment worked or schedule the 2nd treatment. I called the numbers he provided and the phone was 'disconnected'. I emailed Gene 2-3 times (both at his direct email and the company email on the website) and received no reply. I found another number online and called to receive a machine, which had a recording saying my call would be returned promptly - no one returned my call in the stated timeframe. I called again the next day and Gene then called me back. I asked for an invoice, documentation of findings and treatment and to schedule the second appointment. Gene assured me he’d send it right away. Again, didn't receive anything - I emailed this request again. Gene texted me asking ME when my appointment had been and how much I paid! I replied, then was emailed an invoice - it had an address in a completely different state, no summary of treatment, and a stated 3 month guarantee (not the 6 I had been told). An invoice with the wrong recipient is worthless, let alone the other wrong/missing details. Before I could reply, I immediately received a calendar invite for follow up treatment at the incorrect address – and a random date (no one even inquired my availability). I emailed to say the invoice was wrong and asked if the calendar invite could be scheduled at a time I provided. The person replied "We got you mixed up with another [client same name] - you are the better one I promise ;). Gene K had just brought this to my attention. I will make the necessary changes". I never received an updated invoice or calendar invite. It’s been weeks. My landlord has screamed at me and threated to evict me because I cannot provide documentation of treatment, and cannot get Odin to provide accurate documentation. The amount of time I’ve wasted trying to get basic customer service from Odin, and the second treatment I paid for, is infuriating. In summary: Thankfully, my pest problem was solved. But I feel ripped off: I paid for a two treatments and received one. They can't (won't?) provide documentation of the treatment or invoice, so I can't get reimbursed. They are unresponsive and unprofessional. Bad office management and follow through. Never again.
