It was a pleasure working with Luis to fix our bathroom floor. Our house was recently built (1.5 yr old) and we were having issues with grout crumbling in our master bath. We first worked with the builder to cover it under warranty, and they caused more damage by cutting through our heated floor mat. Luis came in and gave me a fair quote, once he started quickly diagnosed the issue (builder installed our tile and heated floor mat directly on plywood and didn’t set anything in place), and came up with an alternate heated floor approach to ensure the visible quality of the work wouldn’t be sacrificed with the sub floor work he had to do to get the tiles to set appropriately. Luis also did some additional patching in another bathroom for no extra charge
He also was extremely communicative on timeline and scheduling, and completely accurate, something we haven’t had the best experience with other contractors on
Overall, we are extremely happy with the work Luis did and look forward to contracting him again in the future!

I recently hired Lav Contracting, and specifically the owner Luis, to do grout and tile work in my bathroom, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Luis came over to assess the job and got right to work. The tile and grout work was done superbly—he truly made my bathroom look brand new. The quality of the craftsmanship was outstanding, and the price was incredibly fair, especially considering the level of work he delivered.
The job was completed quickly and efficiently, and Luis was perfectly punctual—literally not a minute late or a minute early. That kind of professionalism is rare these days.
Luis is an absolute gentleman and a master of his craft. I’m already looking forward to working with him again to redo my entire second bathroom.

I hired Lav Contracting to do a labor intensive tile/grout job. The results were amazing and I couldn’t ask for a better job. Definitely exceeded my expectations and needless to say I was very happy. He is a professional and even fixed areas that another contractor made a mess out of. If you have any kind of tile job I would absolutely recommend Lav Contracting

Luis did an excellent job re-tiling our entryway using Zia Cotto 8x9 hex Red Clay tile. He was punctual, communicative, and kept the workspace clean throughout the project. His pricing was also very reasonable. I highly recommend working with Luis.

I cannot day enough wonderful things about Luis and his team. Firstly, Luis was so kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He always showed up exactly when he said he would, the job was done, absolutely perfectly, and he always went the extra mile to find the right materials and colors to make our bathroom look the best. His team, Andres and Julio, were also very kind. We also had a great experience with Luis’ electrician. Overall, I would definitely recommend going with Luis. His pricing is very fair and transparent, and our bathroom looks great. I’ve already referred him to two people!!!!
