Among other things: (i) the hardwood floors had major water damage and had to be repaired; (ii) the kitchen counter, cabinets, sink and appliances were left in an appalling condition and had to be replaced; (iii) the bathtub had to be reglazed, and the shower head, medicine cabinet and WC fittings replaced; (iv) the closets had to be repaired; and (v) all the walls, ceilings, doors and windows had to be sanded, repaired and repainted.Having experienced some awful situations with NYC contractors in the past, I was extremely anxious about getting the job done -- especially given the fact that I do not live in New York and could not, therefore, personally supervise the work.KOLA was recommended to me by my real estate agent.
