Chef Chris was professional, punctual, and helped me host the most amazing dinner party for my mom‘s birthday in the Hamptons. He created a fantastic menu and was able to accommodate all dietary restrictions while keeping the meal, smooth, consistent, and absolutely delicious. He is not only a delight to work with, but incredibly easy to coordinate with. He was such a pleasure to have in the kitchen, helped me prepare the table and made me feel at ease, even though it was very probable that our outdoor celebration might get ruined by the rain. 12 out of 10 if you’re hosting a dinner party in the Hamptons or in Aspen, he is your guy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone for any occasion.

We had a fantastic experience with Chef Chris, who designed a menu, and prepared phenomenal food for a small 35 person NJ backyard wedding. The food and drinks were so fresh, presented in an elegant yet fun way, and included signature cocktails, multiple passed appetizers, charcuterie board, and full sit down dinner with salad, a handmade pasta dish, fresh grilled vegetables, filet of sole and beef tenderloin. From start to finish Chef Chris and his staff were professional and responsive to all of our needs, which included connecting us to top notch vendors for our tent and table rentals, feeding guests with severe food allergies, vegan preferences, observing Covid-19 protocols and others. We received rave reviews on the food that was served. Chef Chris is an amazing talent and made the success of our event a priority, from start to finish. We will be forever grateful and highly recommend his services to others. Thank you Chef Chris for a beautiful evening!!

If you’re looking to kick your feet up and enjoy an incredible dining experience then NY Catering Service is for you. Chef Chris was highly responsive via thumbtack, email, and text. He worked closely with us to curate the perfect menu for my cousin’s bachelorette weekend. Chef Chris’s hors d’oeuvres, salad, main course and dessert were all generous portions and absolutely delicious. His partner Alex served incredible cocktails as well. This duo was very professional, prompt, and cleaned up as if they were never there after the meal. I would 10/10 recommend this service.

Bad boy celebrity chef Chris Nirschell is a rising star! My co-hostess and I hired Chris to be the personal chef for a small very select social group in NYC. The food was delectable, mouth watering and fabulous! His butternut squash? Puree based, no cream? It was wonderful. We also had a wonderful fall harvest salad and wild caught salmon as the entree. All (again) simply mouth watering! The last course was a mango fosters. Almond gelato and homemade whipped cream. Sweet and light. We had a wine pairing with all four courses. Chris plated the meal with artistry; he announced and described each course and was knowledgeable about the wine with which we paired each course. We will use him again. I hope our group is grandfathered into his reasonable rates for the future!! Thank you Chef Chris!
