I took tap lessons with Avi. Shes amazing! I was pretty much a beginner to tap, having only taken random classes at a lot of the more famous studios around NYC. It wasnt until I had lessons with her that I was really able to nail down all my problem areas & get a sense of what I needed to work on to advance even further. Shes very detailed oriented & has a genuine interest in seeing you improve. She's different from other private teachers because Avi caters the lesson around your individual needs. I also work a lot so it's really great that she's willing to at work around your schedule. Plus shes a really sweet person too. I ABSOLUTELY recommend taking lessons with her!

When looking for a tap teacher, make sure you're hiring someone with the ability to gradually advance your skill set. If you're a novice, or still a relative beginner, it's important to build a strong foundation of the basics...this can be said of many activities, but it's definitely true here!
