Miguel came to give me an estimate a week before he said he could do the work. He seemed very nice and assured me that the job would be easy and that he has done hundreds of countertops. I agreed to his fee without a problem. I needed a countertop, sink and faucet replaced. On the day of the job, Miguel and his co worker took the countertop to be cut to my basement. I did not know at that time that he didn’t have the proper table to utilize for cutting. He decided that my laundry table was appropriate. The countertop was too heavy and broke the table. After that, he could not get the sink to lay flat in the countertop. At that point, he became very aggressive, agitated and blamed me that he could not do it after being there for hours. He demanded full payment. I really didn’t want to give him anything but, I gave him half and he left. He left my house a complete mess. Dust from him cutting the countertop was everywhere in my finished basement (even in the creases of my washer and dryer). I have a TV in the kitchen that he disconnected to do the work and he did not put it back nor did he re hook my old sink. He left everything in chaos. I have been a week without a kitchen sink, my laundry table is destroyed and the work is undone. I am having someone come tomorrow to finally finish the job that Miguel and his colleague could not do. Please take this as a cautionary warning….. see photos below of how everything was left

One of my favorite projects are Breaking ceilings down and putting them back up. We did one last month, it was 3 of us and we had a great time doing it!!
