Lawnstarter, the company doesn’t hold the people that they have memberships with accountable for making sure they follow through with their appointments. They have a tendency to keep the percentage of what they charge the customer a very large percentage from what I’m hearing their policies need to be changed a person could sit there possibly three weeks without anybody coming out because they don’t hold the froze that they have memberships with accountable for pulling the addresses holding onto them for three days And then if they decide not to do it, the next person pulls it. You have to wait another three days before they come out if they come out as for the last mow, they did not mow over near the bench where it is located at my side door. The trimming was not done correctly so now I’ve got to pay almost $600or find the lowest bid to have my lawn done which is basically out of control. I have spoken with them several times and my jobs are still sitting there pending. They were able to get one person out there in the two months I activated my account again since two years ago. The complaint department (Megan) got a pro out to me in less then 24hr she was great handling 2time reactiving my acct problem

LawnStarter did an excellent job; they were scheduled to arrive on Saturday. Imagine my surprise when I came out Friday evening to find the lawn mowed and the bushes trimmed. Now that’s what I call great service!!!!

We price using your address to determine the actual lawn size and then use the lowest industry rates for the area to quote you the best offer that we can.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically our customers like to call in because it is easy and quick, we are able to give an accurate quote just using your address. They can also schedule entirely online at lawnstarter.com. From there, we typically reserve a weekly time or bi-weekly depending on a customers' needs. We also set them up with a customer account so they can manage their service online as they please.
