- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing varies on the size and type of move. We price based on the inventory to give the most accurate quote. For local moves within NYC, you can have the option to opt for the basic hourly rate service (additional movers can be added for a fee) or Roadway Moving can prepare a custom binding quote that is tailored to your moving needs, for hourly rates we have a 4 hours service minimum, plus travel time For long distance moves, Roadway Moving can arrange to provide you with a free in home estimate when you are moving a larger home and requires full packing services, or we can price the move by inventory and the packing services required, either way we offer binding not to exceed guaranteed pricing and handles the move from A to Z with our own fleet of trucks and movers. For commercial moves, we recommend to schedule an in person estimate with us, the service is provided at no cost or obligation to you and we will be able to give you a custom solution that is specific to your moving needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our goal at Roadway Moving is to provide an accurate all-inclusive quote and a seamless moving experience. One of our local sales staff can provide a quote either through email or over the phone. We will need the following in order to provide a quote: address (pick-up and drop-off), move date, inventory and any special packaging.
