- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Events Beyond offer many types of packages as well couture customized packages. Most of our clients prefer a more couture customize packages. Events Beyond is not a cookie cutter design and planning company. Please contact us directly so we can set up an appointment so we can start customizing the perfect package to fit your needs! Below is an estimate of some of the services we offer. Please note Events Beyond does NOT offer day of wedding service. We offer Month of wedding planning service that includes much more than the day of. This allows Events Beyond to confirm your vendors 3 weeks before the wedding. If we see any potential issue we have time to fix the issue(s) prior to your wedding day. Our Month of package starts at $3,500 Our Mid-Level Tier package is starts at $5,000 Our Full Service package starts at $7,500+ DYI Packages Beginning stages event design ideas & planning starter package $1,200 Final stages wrapping your wedding planning process up $1000 Vendor suggestions & budget allocation sheet $500 Additional Design: Candy sweets & treats display starts at $2,000 (Supplies not included) Full set, design for the sweets and treats is around $5000 (Supplies not included) *Note if you book with us and wish for to add a candy sweets & treats display the price is lower A La Carte Please note if youre a current client who purchased a package prices start at $150.00 per hour. Note we have a 2 hour minimum for each service. If you have not paid for a package with Events Beyond our hourly rates start at $350.00. Bridal Showers Bridesmaids luncheon Bachelor & Bachelorette parties Welcome Events Rehearsal dinner Rates vary depending on type of wedding, location, the number of guest, and the demands of the wedding or event. We customize wedding & event packages based the couples needs. If a wedding exceeds 250 guests the percentage goes up to 25% of the total cost of the wedding. There are additional costs based on the couples individual request, along travel and hotel accommodations. All events are subjected to an 18% service fee, and an 8% NY State Sales Tax (this does not include gratuity). Contact us through our website or call us to start your wedding planning.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I attend industry events, bridal shows, bridal market. I try to take refresher courses when possible. I read business magazines, blogs, bridal magazine, I have subscriptions to event magazines,I do heavy market research etc. I have attended and spoken at The Special Event Conference. I meet vendors on a weekly bases, I visit venues and stay on top of the industry trends. I love learning and growing so I can be educated when I work with my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I trained and performed in productions, and had the opportunity to view the frenzy behind the scene. I was always intrigued that however hectic and disorganized, the production appeared seamless and flawless from the audiences perspective. I use my stage experience in my event planning, paying attention to every detail. While completing my dance training, I found another passion in event planning. Crooked Lake House was an elegant and sophisticated restaurant that hosted some of Upstate New Yorks finest weddings and events. A summer position at the Crooked Lake Houseone of the top facilities in Upstate New Yorkled to a promotion to assistant event coordinator. I spent five years learning hands-on the numerous aspects of event planning, from the kitchen to the client. After graduating I worked at Ballet Academy East on Manhattans Upper East Side. I taught ballet, tap, the summer dance program, and served in an administrative capacity. I enjoyed working with young children, giving them the chance to experience dance and the arts the way I had. I also had the pleasure of gaining experience with celebrity clientele and control of a large budget and resources. To further my goal to start my own event planning business, Courtney pursued higher education in New York City (graduating with a Business Management degree with a Specialization in Marketing). Working independently on birthday parties and other events for the past few years, I had been able to use my connections to build a base for Events Beyond. In addition to founding Events Beyond, I was employed at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. For over four years I enjoyed making connections and cultivating relationships with the many talented individuals and businesses within the event community. My passion for beauty, rigorous training, detail-oriented eye, and extensive experience has culminated in Events Beyond.
