FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One size DOES NOT fit all. I have some basic costs but what your project will cost really depends on a lot of different factors. Some of these factors are: - the date of your event - if the design contains custom elements - how complex the design is (material costs) - how much time it takes to create I prefer to discuss your needs with you before giving you a price. I like to discuss all the options you have for the best outcome and the best price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get an understanding of the customer’s needs, what is important to you and what your expectations are. In the beginning we talk a lot and make sure we are a good match and that I can give you what you need. I am great at what I do. But sometimes, a potential customer wants something that I can’t offer them. I’m honest about my skillset and I do honest business. I wont let money or my ego impact my company’s reputation or the client’s event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- I’ve attended a number of balloon decorating courses. Most recently, I attended a 2-day course offered by @jpdballoonedu - I have been practicing event design for 2 years - I have been an event planner for 20 years and I have a long list of vendors that help me to get the best deals for my clients
