- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All payments are required by time of lesson. You are welcome to schedule a series and pay in advance as well. Receive $25 off every 5th lesson. Refer a friend and receive $25 off your next lesson after they complete their first lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We’ll exchange basics: how would you describe your experience with water? What are your current abilities, what do you want to achieve through lessons? Next we’ll set a time that works well. The first lesson will be treated as a bit of consultation with an introductory lesson, from there we’ll outline an individual learning plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My dad had me in the pool as early as I can remember. I started swimming on a team when I was 7 years old. For 6 years I went on to become a synchronized swimmer traveling the country for competitions at some of the highest levels. This was in addition to continuing speed swim, and open water swim. I’ve since taught at a collegiate level, for larger companies, and currently work in a school as a coach. CPR/AED/ Firat Aid Certified. WSI Certified. Concussion Certified. Cleared by the NYC DOI to work with vulnerable populations. (Previously) pool operation Certified. Certified Personal Trainer.
