FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. I just spent the last nine months honing my skills as a singing teacher with an excellent mentor. I'm also presently learning professional digital recording software. I'm always trying to be a better musician and teacher than I was last week.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My parents met at Juilliard. My mom was a singer, and my dad was a pianist composer. I grew up surrounded and immersed in music. Actually, though I had already studied music from early childhood through high school, it was when I got into a band in college with friends that I knew that I'd want to spend my life as a musician.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My "jobs" in the last few years other than giving singing lessons, have consisted of teaching piano privately, coaching singers, directing middle school choruses, music directing theater for Broadway-crazy kids, entertaining as a pianist/singer at many upscale parties and corporate events. I've also worked extensively in TV, film and theater.
