Introduction: I believe music is important because it teaches us how to listen. Sharing my love of music, and the insights my talented teachers have given me throughout my life is my motivation and passion. I currently teach at my home and online. I have learned so much about teaching from my students, who have ranged from kindergartners through retirees. I love watching them progress and develop confidence and insights of their own.

Abby has worked with our new-to-violin ten year-old since the Autumn and we have been greatly impressed with her patience and insight. She is able to connect directly with our student and is both respectful and challenging with her direction and goals. We especially appreciate her flexibility in scheduling lessons (and availability for in-home or in-studio sessions), as well as her assistance in all aspects of violin maintenance (instrument rental, care, etc.). In the words of our student, "she's patient and friendly and fun!"
