My wife and I did comparison shop and we saved a sizeable amount of money by choosing Simply Unique and we highly recommend her company!
Aaryn was the event coordinator for one of my favorite days of my life-- my wedding. For about 36 hours she handled all manner of things like direction of people, set up of decorations, preparation of food and answering the hundreds of miscellaneous questions that come with such a crazy day. She is so personable, an incredible listener and has a nack for really understanding and pursuing the vision of an event. I wouldn't have trusted this day to anyone else.
When I first began to plan our wedding I had visions of glitz, glam and classic elegance. I knew I was creative and could handle a lot of the planning myself, but I also knew I would need help pulling everything together, checking my list twice and executing the wedding of my dreams. I also realized that the day of our wedding should be completely stress free for my husband and I and in that final week leading up to our big day the last thing I wanted to do was pull together vendor list, confirmations etc., etc., etc... With that said, I sought out the help of a professional wedding planner who could truly see my vision and help me bring it into reality. I had the chance to meet with a couple other planners in the Buffalo area and for lack of a better word they were boring and quite typical for this town...basically exactly what I wasn't looking for. I needed someone who was just as fabulous as myself and could handle the craziness a wedding can bring in the final month. So when I met Gabby I fell for her immediately! Gabby is such a beautiful person- inside and out! She went above and beyond her role as our month of coordinator. She is professional at ALL times, super personable, organized, punctual, thoughtful and full of AMAZING ideas! She has the connections and referrals you will need to take your wedding to the next level. If you are searching for a wedding planner that's reasonably priced, knowledgeable about all things wedding and an all around fabulous woman to help guide you to the alter...look no further, Gabrielle Pagano is your girl!!! I must say I am not much of a review writer and never do until I at least had three experiences. Well where do I start. I will start with April. She is professionali at its finest. She is very talented in giving me recommendations for my parties. All of her food was just delicious and fabulous presented. My friends and family raved about how delicious everything was. I must say I wanted to take the credit and say I made everything myself but all the credit goes to April. She is mine and my friends and family's go to caterer and planner. 5 stars
Tisha did an amazing job decorating for a bridal shower that I hosted. The colors matched perfectly. She was on time and although we were on a time restraint the set up was completed before the guests arrived. I would recommend Tisha's weddings and events to everyone.
Jen is an amazing event planner! Jen planned an entire 300 person event in Boston for my company based out of Rochester. There were so many logistics involved- speakers, airfare, hotel setup/breakdown, shipping items, sponsors, cocktail hours, food, breakout sessions, and the list goes on... She handled everything with her team professionally and smoothly... and of course within budget which is important. Honestly, you could not ask for a better planner in ANY event. I have also seen her plan beautiful weddings! Her detail is one you will not find with anyone else. She has tons of ideas and lots of experience. I would highly recommend Jen in any situation if you need help planning anything!
We booked Beamin' Sounds Entertainment for DJ services for both our wedding ceremony and reception. Let me tell you, we could not have been more fortunate than to make that initial call to them. Brent, the owner of Beamin' Sounds was our DJ. We met with him four or five times to plan ALL details of our wedding. He was not only a DJ but also a wedding planner, providing us with full ceremony and reception agendas/itineraries, copies of the ceremony music for our rehearsal, and so much more. He adjusted my train and veil before walking down the aisle with my dad, and kept the party going the ENTIRE NIGHT (from 5:00 - midnight!) and everyone on the dance floor. The flow of the reception was perfect, thanks to him, as everything was timed perfect and no one was ever just sitting, waiting for the next event or dance. There was always something going on. He brought so much personality and energy to our wedding. I must say, I truly miss having meetings with him and seeing him, because he made us feel like family. Do not regret your choice of DJ's for your wedding, the music affects your day more than you know, and Beamin' Sounds will not let you regret your choice on your big day. I even had a problem with another vendor (unfortunately) that did not perform their service up to quality and was a BIG problem at our wedding, and Brent went out of his way to write a letter and talk to the owner of this other vendor to support me in my claims on his own time- he was so helpful and supportive when I was dealing with a very, very disappointing aspect of our big day. Worth every penny, as you get not only get a DJ, but also a wedding planner, and a friend! Beamin' Sounds MADE our wedding day what it was.

The best decision we made when planning our reception was to hire Molly with Anchor Events. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a beautiful and stress-free reception. Molly was always very responsive, professional, flexible throughout the planning process and had great suggestions to fit our budget. She created perfect centerpieces and decorations for the reception that were better than we could have imagined. She wrangled all our vendors with ease to ensure they were all on time and on the same page about the day's agenda. She even ran interference for us when a vendor was causing stress and got us drinks at our reception! Kelly is amazing! From her creative party planning ideas and excellent customer service to her ability to envision all the necessary details, throwing a party was a snap! She helped me with a business launch party and I was so pleased with the results. She provided options for food and decorations and took my feedback and made them a reality. Christopher's Catering was wonderful! He catered my daughter's baby shower and the food was perfect. I requested some vegetarian dishes for my daughters,which included a fresh fruit platter(the presentation was beautiful!) several salads with homemade dressings. The bruscetta served was bursting with freshness and flavor! The guests absolutely loved his mini meatballs. The table was set up beautifully and every dish was prepared exactly as we discussed. Christopher Kromer was very professional , has high standards of quality and freshness and had a vast knowledge of food and flavors! Would HIGHLY recommend Christopher's Catering!
