Kelly is a highly experienced and deeply compassionate instructor. She brings multiple aspects of yoga practice- asanas, essential oils, singing bowls and meditation- uniquely designed to each student’s needs. She continues her own professional development to bring new aspects of practice to enrich and deepen the shared practice. The practice room is calm and soothing and scheduling is highly flexible. My experience over the past year with Kelly has been wonderful in every respect!
I respect and admire Cheryl as a professional yoga teacher. Her contribution to my overall health and well-being for the past four years is the reason I continue to take her yoga class. She works hard and always attends to each students individual needs. Definitely try her class, it would be well worth your time.
Kelly is amazing! On a whim I decided to try out yoga for my first time but wanted to go somewhere that I would feel comfortable and I am so happy I found Kelly. She is an amazing teacher who keeps the classes fun and fresh. She switches up each class and I always leave feeling so refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend!
Great small studio with a personalized feel! Laura and her team of yoga instructors are top notch, very welcoming and tailor classes to all experience levels.
I have attended many different yoga classes taught by many different instructors but Bre’s class was by the far the best class I’ve been to. She takes the time to personally instruct each person in her class based on their individual needs. She does an incredible job of making sure you are properly doing each pose while ensuring you are keeping up with your breathing. I would recommend Bre to any person at any level of yoga.
I am so happy to write this review about the best overall yoga experience I have had so far. Yogi Brian's home studio is warm yet professional, challenging yet relaxing, and a strong workout yet highly meditative. The way he begins and ends each class is far better than yoga I have experienced at other places. This is worth every penny & more. Yogi Brian is approachable and open to communication while keeping you focused on your practice. You will never feel rushed or not ready for class once a flow begins. I know this is something I will want to continue for as long as I am living in Fairfield County because I have never had a yoga experience that has inspired me to do research for fun. I want to keep practicing & learning about the way different philosophies connect to the dharma style after a month that I was given as a gift from a family member. As you can see I highly recommend!
Aari is an excellent yoga instructor! Aari introduced me to yoga years ago in a small private group setting...we were all new to yoga, and she was very articulate in explaining both the physical aspects of yoga (poses) as well as the body/mind connection and benefits. With her good humor, patience and gentle hands-on corrections, we became hooked on the "Aari Method" of yoga. I cannot thank her enough for opening my eyes to what has become such an important part of my life. I highly recommend Aari if you are looking for a yoga instructor with heart, soul and compassion!
This yoga therapy works with body and mind allowing deep seated tension to release. It improves mobility, flexibility, reduces and even eliminates pain.
I have been practicing yoga since the age of 16. I was trained at a highly accredited yoga school. I listen to what your body and mind needs and tailor the yoga lesson to such.
I'm a Kripalu trained teacher. I can train you in your home, in private or small group classes. Gentle slow-flow classes, restorative yoga, chakra meditation as well as prana meditation are available. I am also a certified medicinal aromatherapist.
I am a private vinyasa yoga instructor, focused in slow flow, restorative and gentle yoga. This is perfect for you if you are looking to relax and slow down for an hour a day or if you train hard and need to give your muscles that extra, focused stretch.
Jamie began his journey towards yoga with intense training in the Martial Arts under his stepfather and great aunt when he was thirteen. The rigorous physical and mental discipline pushed him towards developing body awareness, strength and flexibility. In high school, Jamie played football and became heavily involved in functional strength training and conditioning. After a lot of wear and tear from football, culminating in a torn meniscus, Jamie felt an intuitive urge to seek balance in his body. Already heavily involved in spirituality and non-physical yogic practices, Jamie came to liberation yoga for a restorative yoga class looking to relieve and relax his body after a heavy weight lifting session. He was immediately hooked on the practice of Hatha yoga. It was the perfect physical discipline to mirror, support and foster the mental, emotional and spiritual work Jamie was engaged in. For the next year, he steeped himself in practice. Looking to further his practice, knowledge and ability to share his experience of yoga with others, he went through Liberation School of Yoga with 200-hour certification program and has been an avid teacher ever since and even before. Jamie is also a Reiki Master, under the Usui Tradition. He believes that Reiki can be a direct path to recover aspects of ourselves that we have either lost or pushed below the surface. The more we learn to work with this energy, the more we become able to heal ourselves and the more we become whole. He feels that contact with Reiki energy encourages us and empowers us to take an active role in our individual healing processes. Jamie strives to integrate his knowledge of martial arts, yoga practices, spirituality and Reiki into all of his sessions. While not on his mat, he reads as many books as he can to possibly get his hands on, to further his knowledge and to feed his mind.
Our philosophy is about a nonjudgmental style of yoga. We value each individual for himself/herself and would never want to create all things equal. We play, and we work hard, all while finding and connecting to ourselves through breath work. Vinyasa is what we are good at. The only saying goes, stick to what you know, and that's what we do. All our teachers offer their own unique style to Venture, but you will find many consistencies throughout all of our classes, too. Whether you are here to have a workout, to find mental clarity or a little bit of both, we will make sure you leave completely satisfied. Our energy in the studio is fabulous; come and be part of something great. We hope to see you on your mat soon!
First of all, I love yoga. I truly believe that it is a transforming practice. I became a yoga teacher to help people transform their lives, and I want to see you accomplish more than you can on your own.
