Senor Avalos is a first rate teacher. He makes it interesting and fun. I have had four lessons so far, am about to book another six, and will keep going from there.
Fun informative lessons. Kazue sensei provides lots of study material, updates and is patience.
Gloria is an excellent teacher. She has a great approach to teaching a language that is patient, considered and is able to adapt the lessons to tailor to myself as a student. She is also particular good at prioritizing what is taught, so you are not slowed down by minutia which takes away the fun of learning a language.
I feel so lucky to have found Katya to tutor me. Katya took ample time to discuss my language goals. It is great that she is working with me one-on-one to tailor the tutoring sessions to meet my needs. Not only is her comprehension of the finer points of English excellent, but she is also able to explain pronunciations clearly. She cares about the progress of her students and she assigns custom-tailored homework. On top of that, she’s also very knowledgeable about the language and about language theory. Highly recommend!
I thoroughly enjoyed my French lessons with Ainna. I feel her focus on vocabulary and prononciation is helpful in building a foundation for learning
My wife and I just had our first Japanese lesson with Keiko - it was an amazing experience! Keiko is considerate, and patient. In addition to her commendable linguistic prowess, Keiko also possesses a great deal of insight regarding Japanese culture! I am looking forward to my future Japanese lessons with Keiko and would heartily recommended her to anyone who is serious about learning Japanese.
I was looking for an Italian teacher who could do a good job helping me learn the language. Robert turned out to be a FANTASTIC choice! He is smart, kind, and patient. He is interested in making sure you understand what you are learning. He also is happy to tailor the lessons to fit your style of learning. In short, you would be hard pressed to find a better Italian teacher in NYC!
Humberto is very polite, prompt and personable. I've only had 2 lessons so far, but I think he's a very good teacher.
Larry has taught 2 of my Mandarin classes so far. He has been punctual to all of the classes. The children are receptive to him and were able to grasp the activities and lessons in the class
Sandy is a wonderful ESL teacher! My 3 year old son enjoys her lessons. She always prepares fun materials for kids and knows how to deal with young kids very well. Soon after my son started taking her class, his preschool teachers noticed his improvement of English!
Luanna is a fantastic language instructor! She fully immerses her student in the Portuguese language; however, she is careful to tailor his or her study to the specific student's needs and retention. I have enjoyed my lessons with her to date and eagerly await my future ones!
Raffaella is a great Italian teacher. She is teaching my teen daughter who is a beginner and me (upper intermediate.) She's friendly and makes Italian enjoyable which is important with teens. I've worked with a lot of Italian instructors and she's definitely one of the best. After just two lessons, we've both learned a tremendous amount.
I have been studying ESL lessons with Maura for almost 3 weeks and I have been enjoying a lot. She is a great professor, very friendly, she has a huge experience and has been providing me lots of tips to improve my English. She has an excellent method to teach you during the conversations that make the classes be so funny and instructives at the same time.
I like my ESL lessons with Marion. She taught me not only the language but also the American culture, which I'm very interested in. Besides that, she is such a nice person that talking with her is always enjoyable.
Ciao! My wife and I had the pleasure of taking beginner Italian lessons with Antonio. While my wife excels at picking up other languages quickly, I am the opposite. No matter. Antonio was accommodating to both our strengths and weaknesses and tailored the lessons so that we both got the most out of our time together. He is very kind and generous teacher. I would not hesitate recommending him to anyone looking to learn Italian. Buona fortuna!
