My line of work started with a long lasting appreciation for electronic music and dance music since the early 90's (1991 to be exact).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
DJ'ing one-off gigs for nightclubs, events and festivals for the most part.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't be afraid to ask. I'm a pretty approachable guy. If they aren't approachable, they probably aren't the right person for the event (in my honest opinion). If you make me an offer, that is fine. The one thing I just ask during that process is that you be considerate. In other words, don't be the person that says, "Oh we can't guarantee that we will pay you but it depends on how the event does." That's not really a fair arrangement, especially when someone is bringing business through your doors and is providing top-notch performances and bringing the best of the best.
