Eric Nilsson

Introduction: I am an experienced, supportive voice and piano teacher in the Eastwood area of Syracuse, and I offer lessons for all ages, styles and interests. I love to help people discover the joy of making music and developing their skills. I enjoy watching my students gain confidence that can improve other aspects of their lives. I have worked with students with a wide variety of needs/interests, including special needs and professionals. I hold a Master of Music in Voice Performance and teaching certifications in music, speech-language and classroom N-Grade 6. For young children, I offer duo piano/voice lessons for both the child and a parent at the same price as a single student. When a parent and young child practice the same pieces together, it gives an added incentive for the child to enjoy "us" time while practicing. The parent can then reinforce the written lesson at home each day. The result is great progress and quality time spent together with your child. I offer customized CDs, made either during or between lessons at not extra charge. Listening to the lesson music also counts as practice time.
