How do I begin? The performance was outstanding! It was a breath of fresh air. The drums, horns, keyboard, and singers were very good. They are still receiving compliments from everyone who was present. I can't say enough good things about Pristine Raeign. They were warm, friendly, and professional. I look forward to having you perform again for our facility. Thank You!(show less)
Professional, Talented, and Great with the kids... Josh Clark is one of the most amazing balloon artists I've seen. My family and I booked him for my dad's 70th Brithday Party to entertain the kids, at least for a little while. He was extremely patient with all of the kids and even stayed over a little past his booked time to ensure the last child, in line, received a balloon sculpture. The kids AND adults loved Josh's work and easy-going attitude and so will anyone else who decides to take advantage of Josh's incredible talent.(show less)
Cannot say enough good things about our experience with Michael and his team for our daughter's bat mitzvah. People are still calling it the bat mitzvah of the century - we even got thank you notes from our guests for having them - because of how much fun people had and we owe that to Lighting Shakes. I was concerned about a "canned" event where everything felt like it had been done a thousand times but I couldn't have been more off-base. The dancers were warm, engaging and enjoyed dancing with the adults as much as the kids. Michael kept the party moving the entire time and respected my wishes about everything. The music was terrific and the perk of having someone taking photos of the party and then posting them as part of the montage while the party was still going was a real hit - plus they make great mementos after the fact. There are really aren't enough words to express how pleased we were with Michael and the entire Lightning Shakes team. You will be lucky to have them at your event.(show less)
I have been teaching guitar and piano professionally for 10 years, to students of all ages. I have taught practically every genre of music from classical to rock, blues, folk, jazz, pop and literally everything in between. I teach my students the music that they want to learn and create a learning path that will get them to their goals as soon as possible. My students consistently describe me as incredibly patient and nice to work with.(show less)
The O-Tones, a hot swing and Motown band from Massachusetts, will melt your hearts and get your feet dancing. They've got soul; The O-Tones strike a chord with all ages. From the nostalgia of the big band era to the motown and R&B numbers we all love to dance to, they know how to punch it out! Based in the heart of Massachusetts, this event and wedding band travels all over New England with many happy clients to recommend them. Their songs are well-loved, coming from many different eras like the guests they play for. They love the music they play and it shows. Whether singing an old jazz ballad for dinner music or punching out a fiery motown or R&B tune for dancing, audiences have taken to their sound since 1990, when they first started playing for weddings, parties, swing dances and fundraisers. Their diverse repertoire as a dance band showcases powerful vocal harmonies, a driving rhythm section, soulful tenor sax, blazing guitar solos and funky keyboard. The older generation feels nostalgic while the younger crowd comes alive hearing the compelling rhythm and melodies. Some of the band members are dancers; they really understand the groove. The core of the group is made up of three stellar singers: Mary Witt (bass), Ann Percival (rhythm guitar) and Anand Nayak (lead guitar). Each lending their own flavor, they soar in their solo vocal stylings, while blending smoothly in their harmonies. Add to that hot tenor sax by Kerry Blount, boogie woogie piano and organ by Walt Chapman and creative, rock-solid drumming by Pieter Struyk and you've got a sound that can't be beaten. With three singers and six instruments, you get the feeling of a big band with horn section. Smaller groupings are also available. They provide their own sound system and will help you make your event the best it can be!(show less)

Booklyn based vocalist and songwriter, Brenda Rudzinski, is a mixologist of sound. Her songs combine the storytelling tradition of American folk music with infectious pop rhythms and soulful jazz harmonies. Her sultry voice soothes the spirit while cutting through to the heart of the matter. Brenda's most recent song, "Intellectual Lover" (Sony Japan), shared a spot on Billboard's number one album, "Spooky Hotel" by Senri Oe. She is currently writing music for a debut album set for late summer of 2015 as well as tunes for film and television. Brenda Ann Rudzinski was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, to a working-class family and grew up in Thompson, Connecticut, a rural community in the northeast corner of the state. As a young child, she spent countless hours imitating the songs of pop singers and found that music took her beyond the confines of her small town to a world of limitless possibility. In grade school, she pursued every musical and creative outlet she could find, including choir, writing short stories and producing and directing plays. A weak high school music program shook her hopes for making music a realistic career goal and after graduation, she enrolled at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts (a town north of Boston), where she earned a degree in fashion merchandising. It was in Boston that Brenda found music again, where she immersed herself heavily in the local music scene. Soon, she found encouragement from the musicians around her to pursue a career as a singer. In 2003, Brenda quit her desk job and moved from Boston to Paris, France, to escape the familiarity of her old life and reinvent herself as a professional musician. She studied classical voice in the city's under-esteemed soprano, Karen Nimerela, and enrolled in theory classes at Le CIM and The American School for Modern Music. She also formed a jazz trio and performed at such notable clubs as Cafe Universal and Sunset Sunside. By 2005, Brenda moved back to the States to further her music education. In 2006, she enrolled in the Berklee College of Music on scholarship. She graduated in 2011 with a double major in vocal performance and songwriting. Shortly after graduation, she moved to New York City, a city she had been dreaming about living in since she was a little girl. Brenda currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. She is a vocal instructor and a songwriter and performs with her band in and around the New York City area.(show less)
