Congratulations on your engagement! Drop The Mic Entertainment is a non-cheesy wedding DJ service for modern brides who want a fun worry free night. As your wedding deejay we will be responsible for coordinating the timeline, orchestrating the introduction and flow of events, working with your other vendors, managing the guests, reading the crowd and making sure the right song is played at just the right time. We like to get to know our couples, their likes and dislikes, so that we can create a one of a kind memorable wedding reception that is totally you. Everything went as planned. Will took a lot of the load off of my shoulders by keeping track of the time. He played all of our requests and special songs as we discussed. Will was very professional but not uptight. He was fun and it was refreshing that he had ideas for our reception so I didn't have to think of everything. It's amazing that his prices aren't twice as high for all the things that he did for us. Even when he dismissed our tables for food he managed to make that fun. Overall I gave Drop the Mic 5 stars because Will was in control the whole night and made sure everyone had a good time dancing.

Will was our DJ. He was great, very professional. He met with us multiple times, he never complained even though I know we were out of his way. The biggest thing for me is that he was very organized. During the reception he had everything we were supposed to do written out and made sure we were on schedule. He kept people on the dance floor and played everything we requested. Very fun.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our Prices generally start from $125/hr to $150/hr depending on the services you would like.. Our uplighting packages start at $1000-$1500.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial quote, I think it's important to speak with your DJ over the phone to make sure we are the right match. Next if you decide I am the DJ for you we try and set up a time to sit down and chat to take care of the deposit and contract. Just like that youre booked!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a communications degree specialization in radio and tv. Our training includes 20-30 hours on site training and is always updating with new technology.
