We reached out to a few companies we found online about the mold in our attic and just wanted to say we are super happy we went with ABC Mold.We filled out the instant estimate form and had an estimate in our email in less than 30 minutes.The other companies we contacted took days to get back to us with their estimates.Ed and Jeremy came out to do the work and were friendly, professional, highly knowledgeable, on time, and they were literally a fraction of the other companies prices.When they showed up to do the work they arrived with a truck and trailer and had everything they needed to get the job done.One of the other big name companies we received an estimate from just wanted to HEPA VAC and paint/encapsulate the wood right over the staining and discoloration which didn't seem right to us based on all the research we did.Ed from ABC not only explained to us that mold can still grow back on the "mold resistant" coatings up in an attic over time, he also shared pictures of attics he's seen first-hand years later where that process has failed and mold is all over the coating and mentioned how it can almost never be restored to look "like new" again at that point if we went with that process, without fully replacing the entire roof and all of the wood that is, so we felt like we dodged a bullet there.The company that wanted to paint our attic also wanted close to 9 thousand dollars for that process. ABC's price was closer to 3 grand and that included cleaning and treating all the wood in our attic as well as correcting the bathroom exhaust fan to have it vent through the roof properly.More than 50% of our attic was totally black and they were able to remove the staining and discoloration and restore it to look like brand new plywood.I actually thought about trying to do it myself when I seen how much it was going to cost but after seeing the special equipment and amount of work it took professionals who do this all the time I can't imagine how long it would of taken me or if I would of even achieved the same level of results they delivered.Also worth mentioning, when they went on the roof to install the vent for the bathroom exhaust fan they noticed our old satellite dish on the roof was potentially causing some water damage to our roof because the bolts had been working their way out of the shingles and decking over time and kindly brought it to our attention so we could remove it and seal up the potential water intrusions to prevent future damage.I was a little skeptical at first as to how they could give us an accurate estimate so fast without coming out to look at it prior, but they said they've been cleaning attics for over 20 years, looked the house up online, took satellite measurements, gave us a price based off the square footage and they always treat the entire attic with an antimicrobial so they can warranty the whole attic which made perfect sense.When they got here and seen how bad it was they did the work and never tried changing the price or renegotiating at all; which in my opinion is how business should be done. Not that I ever expected them to try to change the price but you never know nowadays.It's easy to see why they have nothing but 5 star reviews.Overall we are thrilled with the job they did, plus it came with a transferrable warranty.We would recommend them to anyone that needs this kind of service. ABC has done work for me several times. Just recently they replaced gutters, fascia and soffit. They were prompt with scheduling. The workers were efficient and cleaned up area very well both days. The price was more than fair. I dealt w Lee and he kept me informed at every juncture of the repairs. House looks awesome!

Was very unhappy with ABC at 1stmy kitchen was supposed been done back in may..but Holly owner of ABC found out about my kitchen not getting started since I put money down..she assigned Shannon to my project and then everything was wonderful..Shannon made sure things that needed to be done was taken care of and made sure I was happy with the workshe even let my pups out to go pee..she also notified me right away when worker couldnt show up and would reschedule another project right away..my kitchen looks a lot better..Im still unhappy with some of the work and job getting done later then is should have been but again which is why I didnt give 5 *s ..Shannon deserves 5*s..Thank you Holly & Shannon!!
