Goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Although yoga is a powerful form of physical activity – one that can transform your body – I believe that it is also a way of life. I truly believe in teaching that to my clients. Yoga has had a deep and powerful impact on my life and I am thrilled to share that with others. In regards to nutrition, many professionals in the nutrition and wellness field teach their clients how to diet. I teach my clients how NOT to diet; rather how to listen to their body by becoming an intuitive eater, eat foods they enjoy without guilt and have a positive relationship with food and their body. In regards to yoga, I love teaching people the true meaning of yoga and how to apply it to themselves, both on the mat and off. I have found that when one truly challenges themselves to stay present and in the moment, yoga becomes more powerful than what one first imagined. There is nothing that compares to teaching the gift of presence. In regards to nutrition, my favorite part of this job is giving people permission to eat in a balanced, non-restrictive way and to teach them to listen to their body instead of all the misinformation given in the media about nutrition. I love empowering people to listen to their body and enjoy the food they eat.
