I posted my request on Thumbtack and was looking for a painter to paint a bedroom and bathroom within a short time-frame. I received a quick response from Greg Burns. I sent him pictures of the rooms and he quoted a price. He showed up promptly two days later at the agreed upon time and I felt very comfortable that my job was in capable hands. He and his son did a great job painting the walls as well as the ceilings in very short order. I will contact them again for future painting needs.

Eddie was a great communicator, always keeping me apprised of the status of coming for the estimate and eventually coming to do the work. He cleaned a very high part of the north side of my house (the half that is sided) and removed moss and algae that had been built up for years. It looks brand new. The estimate was more than fair. Very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

We contracted with Ian Cheadle of Cheadle Construction (937.580.9098) on December 4, 2015, and we are very glad we did. The project centered around the replacement of carpeted and tiled flooring with 3/8 inch Engineered Hardwood in a glue-down installation. This was a project that we, homeowners, had started the previous May, but after completing our great room, the project lost momentum leaving our downstairs in a half-baked configuration. We were simply not looking forward to tackling the myriad of difficult cuts required for our front entry-way, parlor, and hallway, all of which are at odd angles to the walls opposite. In late November, we decided to hire a professional. We found Ian and contacted him via email and he came to our condominium ON TIME, sized up the work and had an estimate/contract prepared for us shortly thereafter. Some prices are a set amount, while others are by square-foot or linear foot. It was all clear up-front. We removed the baseboards, carpet, carpet liner, carpet tack strips, and tile ourselves, revealing a concrete sub-floor upon which the new project would be glued. We were not, however, able to chip away the mortar that was underneath the tile. Lucky for us, Ian had a tool similar to a jack hammer that was able to do that job. The particular choice of materials and the method of installation were ours, and were not products he had worked with prior. Ian listened to our own experiences and in addition did his own research, including contacting the company. So when he began work, he was able to hit the ground running. We should mention that this was "click and lock" flooring in name only; it takes some real persuasion with a hammer to get each piece to lay flat. And the glue, although a great product, is also very messy, requiring constant cleanup. The project also involved the installation of baseboards. We chose 1x4 common board, and did the sanding, priming, and painting ourselves, leaving the cuts and installation for Ian. He caulked all the gaps, leaving a finished, professional look. There were no surprises during the installation. Ian asked all the right questions, and turned our vision into reality in less than a week. Having done this work, ourselves, the previous May, I can tell you that his constantly cheerful attitude must be a superpower of some sort. So, now, the project is complete, the place looks great and we can once again welcome our cars into the garage, just in time for winter. This is a link to a photo on google drive showing some of Ian's work: We were delighted with how it all turned out. Tim and Christy Centerville, OH

She is a real pro. I hired her to repaper a guest bathroom, and I was so pleased with the professional outcome that she re -did most of my house! She is a worker - works all day and cleans up when she is finished and she is reasonably priced. She painted ceilings, walls, woodwork and wallpapered 2 bathrooms. My husband and I were very comfortable having her in our home. She is excellent!

Derek was responsive, on time, and very experienced and knowledgeable all on top of being very pleasant. I gave him a tough job stamping in part of my repaired ceiling and he was very dedicated to getting it right. He was also very careful not to make a mess. Outstanding for sure.

Brad installed a backsplash in the kitchen and the work was excellent, reasonable, quick and clean. He is also replacing the floor ceramic tiles and installing new wood flooring. He does what he says he is going to do.

Pope Brothers completed several jobs - the major job was a complete kitchen remodel which included moving the sink plumbing from one side of the kitchen to the opposite wall. They did an excellent job! The kitchen is absolutely beautiful and the price in comparison to other contractors was well within reason. Also completed a block patio installation; again, beautiful, expertly done and at a reasonable price. Extremely pleased overall.
