John Turner says, "Our home was built in the mid-1950s and was starting to look a little dated in need of a complete exterior refresh.I told the salesman Luke (more of a remodeling consultant/advisor) that I never wanted to paint again and wanted a low maintenance durable solution. Luke spent a lot of time with us helping with ideas without being pushy or aggressively trying to close on a sale. As we were finalizing the project he asked what the most important things were during project planning and execution. I told him communication and trust- American Way exceeded my expectations in both.The project included Hardie Siding, gutters, vinyl soffits, metal wrapped wood trim, a few windows, and replaced a flat rubber roof (damage/leak discovered during install). Oscar, the project manager answered all questions and managed scheduling, crews, and some inevitable change orders along the way (damaged areas discovered during install). He was upfront and honest and always gave me information to make decisions on the changes. He was very responsive to all of our needs and was a huge help. Oscar was extremely efficient the way he managed the entire project (tons of things going on behind the scenes but seamless to the customer).The crews were all professional, friendly, and flexible (had to juggle our dogs in and out of the yard during the day). The attention to detail and workmanship was outstanding.There were a couple other staff members that I talked to over the phone or texted but never met. They were always available to answer questions and give updates- total team effort with a connected staff from start to finish.The results? The house is completely transformed and looks beautiful. Neighbors have stopped by and asked questions and commented how great things look. You wont be disappointed."See more

I guess I ordered the wrong size door and Marty drilled too many holes for the handset, but he made adjustments and the door looks very nice. The installation of the antique door with rounded top was great. Overall I give a 9 out of 10 rating. Yes, I would hire again.

I needed people for this job who had more skill than me because it is an older, out of square, brick house. Heritage suggested where to buy the door resulting in additional savings. I hate to have to say anything negative. Dustin seems like a really nice guy. He came out to repair my son's bedroom door. The hinge was stripped and the door was in great condition. I thought this should be a fairly easy fix for someone that is experienced. He tried for an hour and a half to re hang the door, and couldn't seem to figure it out. During the process he accidentally damaged the wall behind my son's door. He did offer to repair the damage. I didn't feel confident in his ability after that.

Herbert was very helpful throughout the process and instructed me on how to measure for a new door. He then picked the door up and installed it at the first date I had requested. He explained the whole process very well and found quick solutions when little problems arose. We live in a very old home and are quickly learning that doors in older homes are quite tricky but he was able to install it and made sure everything was leveled so it opens/closes perfectly. We are very happy with our new door (just need to get around to painting it now) and will likely use Herbert for future home projects!
