It was not a typical install, but, he finished and returned to install door knobs and other pieces he purchased and ended up wrapping the exposed frame of door. Top notch, referred to my sister.

I hired Buckeye Garage Door Repair to install two exterior doors at my home. At first they were prompt and I was able to schedule an appointment with them within a day or so. After advising me of the sizes of door needed, I purchased them for them to pick up the next day before coming to install them. They showed up, without the doors, and began tearing my back door out. It was a pretty cold and windy day so when they left to go get the doors, I had to put up a large thermal bedsheet to prevent the warm air escaping my home. They were gone for almost 2 hours before returning, again without the doors. They measured again, and left to go pick up the original doors I had purchased. Again, they were gone for an hour and a half. My home is old and the door openings are not standard (84inchs vs 80inches). Instead of making the threshold flush with the exterior, they raised it over a inch, creating a trip hazard. They finish day one, after 8 hours, on a Sunday, installing a single exterior door, and did not replace the trim that was destroyed or taken down during installation. I took a vacation day the following Monday for them to finish. They installed the side exterior door without much hassle. They told me they would return at a later day to complete the unfinished back door, but considered the job complete and asked for payment. As of a week later, I have contacted them to finish the job, was told I would be called back. I have not received any response, even after following up a second time. Back door is raised over an inch, creating a trip hazard. Back door is not centered in hole. My house uses 3.5inch trim, and I am unable to install it because the door is not centered. Trim was not replaced at all. Large gaps/holes at corners of door frame and prehung door I had to fill with Great Stuff to prevent heat from escaping or any critters from outside coming in. I will need to hire a second crew to fix the numerous mistakes they made.

Arrived on time and had the tools to complete the job. The door that was purchased did not fit, so the job was unable to be completed, understandably. No price transparency for a job not able to be completed. When existing storm door was reinstalled, it no longer stays closed without locking it.

They were very nice and personable, but did not clean up very well or clean the glass of the storm door or the patio from the debris There was also a gap at the bottom of the door to the concrete that I don’t think they saw until I pointed it out. They fixed it, but there is still a small gap. I was quoted a price of $200, but I think they wanted more, and I think it had something to do with the door handle. I had been quoted $120 by another company. I was having a tough time understanding him.

Travis was a joy to work with. If I could have, I would have selected all of the options provided for "what did you like about working with" this vendor. He replaced a very old exterior entry door on an even older detached garage. The old wood door was barely hanging on. There was much more to do than just set a new pre-hung door in an opening, and Travis did it all (except the painting, which I'll do myself). Very responsive. Great work. Great value. I would recommend him to anyone.

I came across ALHi LLC in my search to have some interior doors installed in my home. Out of all the contractors that responded thru Thumbtack, ALHi was the most cost effective for me. Brad was very detailed in explaining what I needed to complete my project. During the installation he ran into an issue, and had to adjust the door jams to make them work, but definitely not an issue for him. When the project was completed two of the doors needed some minor adjustments, and when I contacted Brad he didn't waste any time coming to fix the issue. I will be keeping them in mind for any future projects, and would highly recommend ALHi LLC for any home improvement projects you might have in mind.

We had Mark take out a window and cut a doorway into the house and install a storm door and entry door. Mark is very precise and a master carpenter! He also added an outlet in a complex spot of the house and was meticulous and solved an electrical issue that was there from the last electrician. Plus he added a wall in the kitchen. Last but not least, he installed an 8-foot awning which came with incomplete instructions. We couldn't be more happy with his artistry and attention to detail. The finished project is beautiful.

I hired Zack to install new drywall on my ceiling over my existing plaster he quoted me a price we were on the same page with that also, I was gonna have him install a sliding door I told him I will let him know when the sliding door comes, but mind you this has nothing to do with the drywall work that he has already started This was just another project that I was going to hire him for because he was already doing work in my bathroom so I told him I was still doing some work in my bathroom. So I was just gonna have him finish the drywall ceiling that I paid him half for and then he basically said find somebody else to finish the job because the sliding door in the drywall was one job and it’s actually not one job. It’s two separate jobs because it has two separate prices. I don’t even understand how he was upset because I said that I wanted the sliding door installed another day.. and just to finish the drywall ceiling that he has started already because he had to come back and finish it anyway, but instead he said, find somebody else to do it after I’ve already paid him half and he has already started the actual job this is diabolical just be careful with dealing with this guy because integrity is everything and a man of his word is very important especially when it comes to business
