FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No not formally, I have been in this business a long time. I have been a teacher in the field. I will however read and keep up with the new trends and always looking for a cool new (or old) venue.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved brides, weddings, being creative, and working with people. I went to school in RI. and started out as a chef, moving up the line and finally opening my own company. I started out as a caterer and quickly added full service planning. I like to plan events and events go smoothly. I don't think the couple or their family's should have to worry about anything on the special day. I just enjoy what I do. The end result is very rewarding.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do weddings mostly now. I have done formal dinner parties, events for corporations, birthday parties. I can do as little or as much as you want. I am very good at previewing wedding gowns for brides. I know the shops to go for a specific designer and their price points. Also the attendants, girls and guys and Mothers. I have secured venues, florist as I said, as much or little as you need me.
