Justin has poor communication and project management skills. We are nearing 1 year from when he started our basement finishing project and it is incomplete. I do not give a 1-star rating lightly but he has only occasionally returned text or call for months, always promising to get to it right away but never following through. If he can fix the water issues or at least refund us the $5000 to have someone else encapsulate the crawl space I would consider this project a 3 based on communication and hassle. The finishing work (drywall, paint, flooring) has mostly been satisfactory but his crew poured leveling compound down a drain which backed up our washing machine and will require significant work to dig out and fix. The encapsulation work in a crawl space has diverted water INTO the basement rather than sealing it off from the elements - the most recent attempt was spreading tar which made the basement unusable for 3 weeks. The core work took months instead of days, and the encapsulation issue remains. His crew took down the dust barrier after 2 weeks and created a mess through the whole house. I do not recommend this pro.

I can’t say enough good thinks about Justin and his crew! They arrived on time, were professional and friendly, worked hard, communicated any issues and provided options, and finished the job with great results. They were exactly what you’d want from a remodeling team. We will certainly be using North Coast again in the future! Thanks, guys!
