Mark S. says, "** Excellent Work on Our Bonus Room Remodel — Highly Recommend! ** We hired MD Construction to remodel our bonus room and couldn't be happier with the experience from start to finish. From the beginning, Melvin provided upfront, transparent pricing — no surprises, no hidden fees — which immediately gave us confidence we were working with the right team. The crew showed up when they said they would and kept the project moving at a great pace. The quality of the finished work speaks for itself — everything was done with clear attention to detail and craftsmanship. What really set MD Construction apart was their flexibility. Mid-project, we decided to relocate the bathroom and reconfigure the bar layout — changes that weren't in the original contract. Rather than push back, Melvin and his team accommodated both changes professionally and came back with a very reasonable cost adjustment for the extended scope. That kind of customer-first attitude is rare to find."See more

FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

There are several great options for waterproof basement flooring. For example, epoxy floors are waterproof but are thicker and sturdier than paint. Make sure the concrete substrate has been prepared for application.

Tile is a designer’s dream, giving you a moisture-resistant surface that’s infinitely customizable. Rubber sheets or tiles are also good waterproof options, particularly for playrooms, workout areas or laundry rooms.

Vinyl tiles and planks imitate wood or other materials very convincingly, provide moisture resistance and last a long time. And sheet vinyl is affordable and a great waterproofing solution for those in need of quick fixes.
