He did an awesome job at my college graduation party (12/15/2017). He went over and beyond what was expected. He is a excellent saxophone player. My wife, mother in law and guests were very impressed. Even the next day I'm getting compliments on how great he was. I personally booked him because he was a veteran and he played the sax but he is so much more than those things. I would totally recommend him again and again. You won't be disappointed.
We are fortunate to have had Lucy for our daughter's piano teacher for 3 years. She is a talented musician herself, dedicated to inspiring the same love of music in her students. We couldn't be happier with our daughter's growth over the years - not just in her piano playing, but also in her singing.
Hello, My name is Dick Kohler, I'am 86 years old. I have been taking lesson from him. I would like to recommend taking lessons with Paul Hartley. Paul teaches string instruments and piano. He is very like able,he keeps asking if you are having fun. Call him and see what he can do for you. I have been taking lessons for less then a year. I can play 15 songs now. Thank you Dick Kohler Sent from my iPad By Sent from my iPad
Lilia teaches piano to my 10 year old and 5 year old. They love her. She is patient, encouraging and full of joy. It is apparent that she loves what she is doing. She strives to motivate each of my children individually in the way that works best for them. She always has their best interests at heart and she genuinely cares for them. We drive 25 minutes to and from lessons because I wouldn't take my kids to anyone else.
Tim is not only a great pianist, but also a great teacher. He's studying jazz pedagogy (how to teach jazz) and openly admits he loves teaching in a private setting. I've also followed podcasts about learning jazz improv and can say that Tim's teaching, pacing and energy is top of the line. I didn't think I'd be able to learn anything about piano after playing for 25 years (and even teaching a little) but after only a few lessons I'm starting to improvise! Amazing teacher. Thanks Tim!!
Roger Parish is an OUTSTANDING music instructor! He taught my siblings and I music lessons 30 years ago and now I have the pleasure of watching him teach my own children (piano and drums). He expects a lot out of his students and has a unique ability to develop their desire to meet and exceed his expectations! His praise is hard-earned, as such, it garners a genuine sense of pride and accomplishment when given. I highly, highly recommend Roger Parish to anyone looking for a highly skilled music instructor that is truly operating in his gift!
He is a great teacher and gifted musician. H taught me to play piano in my own home. Playing on my own piano did help me learn. Tony was always punctual and prepared for my level of learning. I can't think of any way to improve.
He is a great teacher. He is very passionate about playing the guitar. He is extremely helpful if you are stuck on something. I would definitely recommend him.
Mrs. Brenner is an enthusiatic music teacher. She teaches out of her home and she has always been on time. You can tell she loves what she does and is very encouraging to her students. I wish she had been around for my children's piano lessons, but she is available for my grandchildren.
The different approaches, singing, playing, games, have helped my 4 year old begin her musical journey with fun and an increasing experience of accomplishment.
I took voice lessons from Amy for about 5 years. She greatly helped me in learning all the proper ways of breathing and all that goes into being a better singer. She also gave voice and piano lessons to 2 of my nieces and they loved Amy and looked forward to their lessons with her. She's very talented and uses her God given musical gifts to help others.
We have weekly piano lessons for our 6 and 8 year old children. They like going to lessons and think they are "outstanding" says our daughter. The Safari theme has made it fun as well. "Miss Lydia" as our kiddos call her is very patient. They love it when she accompanies them and they get to pass on to a new song.
Cindy is very knowledgeable and patient with our 4 year old. She is always on time and tells the importance of practicing lesson before the next class.
Lydia was easy to work with, very professional, and played beautifully at our wedding reception. She was all of the rage! Highly recommend considering Lydia for your entertainment needs.
Jonathan is a very gifted piano player. I would have him professionally play at all of my events if I could afford it!
As the Activity Director for a retirement community that hosts a wide range of people and interests, I strive to offer a variety of entertainers and am always on the lookout for new talent. Mr. Kass was referred by residents who had heard him play the piano and thought he would be a good addition to our line-up. They were right! He performed songs that they knew and loved, and more impressively, performed them without sheet music! We'll definitely invite him back again!
I enjoy making beautiful and exciting music that speaks to the listener and adds ambience to any setting. I perform weekly and have a diverse repertoire: classical, blues, jazz, religious, pop, ragtime, patriotic, oldies and goodies, contemporary and Broadway. I would be glad to tailor the music selections to your needs. I have over 20 years of performance experience and have a fine reputation.
We have been teaching in Upper Arlington area nearly 25 years. We teach all ages 4 and up from beginner to early advanced levels.
I am a Columbus, OH based musician with over 35 years of professional experience as an entertainer having booked his first job at age eight. I specialize in jazz standards from the '20s, '30s, and '40s. However, as a former piano bar owner and piano bar entertainer for Holland America Cruise Line, my over 600 song repertoires include just about all musical genres (including country). As a musician/entertainer, my goal is to hit you in the sweet spot, that place in your heart where the music takes over, and you are moved to emotion.
Having a foundation in both performance and teaching, I share on-the-job experience with my students as well as an academic approach to the singing voice and piano. Fueled by artistic vision and confirmed by academic fact, my students can feel confident and capable no matter their personal or professional goals.
