Introduction: Hello! My name is Eldon (Ted) Byers and I'm a videographer and film maker based in Columbus, Ohio. I have an odd obsession with Adidas, Coca Cola, and Sour Patch Watermelons and can't live without them. I love meeting new people and creating art. There isn't anything better than seeing the reaction of a bride after seeing her wedding film or watching an artist watch their music video for the first time.

Eldon Films was the absolute best to work and I can't say enough good things about him! In the beginning of our wedding planning we went back and forth on having a wedding video, with my now husband needing some convincing. I was also a little hesitant with the Thumbtack website as I had never heard of anyone using it but I hired my engagement photographer who was out of state and then Eldon Films as our videographer. Both were AMAZING. I am super thankful I came across this website and I'm so glad I went with my gut and hired Ted, I would 100% have regretted it had we not. Immediately following the wedding you want to relive the day, so knowing you will have the wedding video eventually is so worth it!! Eldon Films are professional, super easy to work with and worth every dollar you will spend and is honestly worth a whole lot more for the quality of work and the amazing memories you will have for years to come!

LDB Cinematrography shot out wedding ceremony and reception. He was really easy to work with, flexible with scheduling (I live out of state) and truly listened to what was most important to my husband and I. On the wedding day, he was on time, and got EXCELLENT shots. I barely noticed him (but not in a bad way). We received a video trailer in about 10 days, and are really looking forward to the feature film. I would recommend LDB Cinematography to ANYONE who asks.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Know what you want in your video. I know that may sound simple, but it is actually very important. I create the videos that you want to be created, and if you don't know what you want, then how can I provide you with a video that you love? I would recommenced considering what you want your video to accomplish and what you would like the video to focus. It can even be good to find an example somewhere online and send it to me!
