Introduction: I truly appreciate you taking the time to visit my page. DC Fitness is operated out of Dayton, Ohio by me, Doug Collins, a former 350 pound morbidly obese man who took it upon himself to change his own life, and in the process, found a passion for changing the lives of others. I have lost and successfully kept off over 100 pounds for the better part of 9 years, become a certified personal trainer, certified fitness nutrition specialist, and have helped many others on their path to better health and overall wellness. I can say I have truly experienced it all, good and bad, and it helps me offer a unique perspective and knowledge of how to help others. Doug is a trainer I seemed out due to having similar back stories ofbeing bigger guys. He lost a massive amount of weight and kept it off. Doug is someone who can relate to the big guy/girl in the gym as he was one... He is also someone who has kept it off for many years which shows me he knows what he is doing. This is why I choose him. Now, working out with Doug has been a good experience with all his measurements and tracking programs which help / force you to be held accountable. He is not afraid to push me and get that extra rep or that extra 5lbs to help me sweat just one more drop to get me to my goals. Very supportive outside the gym as well.

Doug was always on time and mixed up the workout so I never got board. He helped me get ready to ski and just keep in shape. Thanks Doug

Doug is extremely knowledgeable in weight training and nutrition. I am learning new exercises and techniques weekly. He is encouraging and pays close attention to detail and proper form. I am three weeks in and realizing the benefits of regular workouts. I will recommend him to anyone wanting to get started on reaching their fitness goals.
