John is awesome! A great trainer, helped me learn new workouts to reach my goals. He's an awesome storyteller and listener. Hope to work with him again someday!Nov 26, 2014Verified
John is a very patient and experience golf teacher. He started with basics (even though I have experience golfing) and through that method was able to help me improve my ability in a sustainable way. He is also very flexible to work around a busy schedule. I highly recommend John for anyone looking to become a better golfer!Aug 24, 2014Verified
I highly recommend John as a fitness coach to both, men or women. John is a very unique, as a person and a trainer. He combines his fitness knowledge and experience with wisdom gained from his spirituality and insights into humanity. He is very reliable, conscientious, flexible, and completely committed to whatever breakthroughs clients want to create in their health. He is very very reasonable in what he charges too, and will come to you if you can't make it to his gym! He combines multiple muscle groups in each move so we can get maximum benefit of the strength training. Try him--you have nothing up lose, except losing your fears, weight, and reservations!Aug 22, 2014Verified
I heard about Jhon when I was looking for personal trainer and I found his info in Thumbtack website. He immediately responded to my email. I've been working out with hem for more than two months. He is the best personal trainer I've ever met. Jhon is friendly, funny and most of all, effective. you will never feel board while you are working out with hem. He is very cooperative when it comes to working out time and schedule. I highly recommend John if you are looking for encouraging and fun personal trainer.Jan 26, 2014Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My rates are always negotiable to fit anyone's budget. I would never turn anyone away who is sincerely seeking professional assistance. I am not in this purely for monetary gain. My motivation is to serve people.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology. Over the twenty-five plus years of teaching/training, I have held every major national fitness certification. My education in the realm of golf far supercedes my experience as a certified personal trainer. Suffice it to say, I have been around golf my entire life. I have much wisdom to impart to my students of all skill levels.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Though I studied the human body and focused on exercise science and kinesiology, I actually never thought that I would become a personal fitness trainer. I was convinced that acquiring such knowledge would aid me in pursuing my dream of becoming a professional golfer. Due to incurring a series of serious injuries and a variety of other setbacks, I recognized that the best laid plans for my life would require some alterations. So, teaching, which was always my natural calling, became the next best thing to playing. I always loved to work out in the gym. Though the encouragement of a lifelong friend, I decided to use my knowledge and teaching skills to combine my love of fitness and golf. Thus, for all of my adult life I've been involved in helping others find their "happy place" as it relates to their physique and their chipping, putting, and ball-striking.
