I learned a tremendous amount in my first golf lesson with John. Would highly recommend him. Excellent!Aug 29, 2017Verified
John was very thorough in his approach to my golf lessons. He effectively used video to pre-analyze my swing and was ready to go when we met for the first time. He kept the lessons simple, yet effective. I highly recommend John for improving your game. By the way, I broke 80 for the first time last week. Thanks John!!Jul 11, 2017Verified
John did a great job explaining and demonstrating golf fundamentals. His emails, photos and videos after each lesson helped reinforce the lesson. I became more confident and consistent with my golf, and recommend John to anyone looking to start or improve their game.Jul 5, 2017
John has been amazing. His step by step approach in teaching my 11 year old is just fantastic. Would highly recommend John to anyone who's wanting to learn golf for the first time or refining their skills. Tks JohnOct 16, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My rates are always negotiable to fit anyone's budget. I would never turn anyone away who is sincerely seeking professional assistance. I am not in this purely for monetary gain. My motivation is to serve people.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology. Over the twenty-five plus years of teaching/training, I have held every major national fitness certification. My education in the realm of golf far supercedes my experience as a certified personal trainer. Suffice it to say, I have been around golf my entire life. I have much wisdom to impart to my students of all skill levels.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Though I studied the human body and focused on exercise science and kinesiology, I actually never thought that I would become a personal fitness trainer. I was convinced that acquiring such knowledge would aid me in pursuing my dream of becoming a professional golfer. Due to incurring a series of serious injuries and a variety of other setbacks, I recognized that the best laid plans for my life would require some alterations. So, teaching, which was always my natural calling, became the next best thing to playing. I always loved to work out in the gym. Though the encouragement of a lifelong friend, I decided to use my knowledge and teaching skills to combine my love of fitness and golf. Thus, for all of my adult life I've been involved in helping others find their "happy place" as it relates to their physique and their chipping, putting, and ball-striking.
