Myers Custom Finishes did a great job painting the exterior and trim of our home. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. They were a delight to work with. We highly recommend them for your painting needs.
The BC crew did a great job replacing my old worn out hardwood floors with a beautiful new engineered hardwood plank in just two work days; one day to remove the old floor and make some repairs to the subfloor, and one day to install the new floor planks. By the end of the day they had put all the furniture back in place and cleaned up. Very happy with their work.
I had Ed install a French Door where existing windows were, trim work done, digital locks and a gate latch on brick installed as well. Excellent work and great communication. Very knowledgeable, and was able to finish the work in a timely manner. Thanks.
The original bid was for baseboard installation but ended up being a job involving flooring removal, vinyl installation and baseboard trim. Steve worked hard and efficiently and the finished product looks great.
Russ is AWESOME. He completed the final trim on our kitchen and dining room flooring project, and installed a door to our master bath. He was responsive, professional, meticulous, and easy to work with. We could not be more pleased with his quality of work. We look forward to having his help for future projects!!
Repair to trim was as described, finished quickly, looks great.
Speedlimit construction replaced all the trim in our downstairs. We were very impressed with the quality of their work and how quick they completed the project. If you need quality craftsmanship for an affordable price you should work with them. We would definitely hire them again.
Paul did some trim work for me. He did a nice job in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend him for any interior trim project.
Needed a repair on a door frame- was quoted a fair price, knowledgeable and got the job done quickly. I would recommend
Over the past two years Dennis has done several repair and upgrade jobs in my home. I have been completely happy with the end result of all work done. My first encounter with Dennisâs handiwork was following an unfortunate experience where an icemaker water line had been incorrectly installed in the floor along with some new bamboo flooring. The water line leaked and caused extensive water damage to my kitchen and living room flooring. He discovered that, #1, the new subflooring was incorrectly installed and (#2) the water line for the icemaker was inadequate, had been damaged during installation and not been connected properly. He installed a new copper water line in a safer location with a safety shut off at the source and another shutoff behind the refrigerator, put down new subflooring and reinstalled my bamboo flooring as though it had never been taken up. Dennis also installed all new custom interior doors throughout my residence as well as a reclaimed solid wood door with a full window that leads to my balcony. Three other contractors had told me that this door could not be installed and that I should just purchase a new door. It now looks great and is just what I wanted! Another project was removing some old, outdated, ceramic tile that surrounded my fireplace and served as a hearth (not an easy job). I chose some natural stone to replace this and extended the âhearthâ area the full length of the wall. He did a beautiful job! Other projects DA BARND Construction has done for me include a complete removal of popcorn ceiling with retexture and paint; window, door and base trim; they oversaw new carpet installation; replaced all electrical outlets and switches, as well as installing some additional outlets and switches; full room paint jobs; bathroom remodel; and currently extending my deck. Dennis has proven to be honest and forthcoming in all my dealings with him. I feel that he is really an advocate for me, trying to give me the best deal but also providing quality workmanship. He shows up on time, cleans up his worksite and is very professional. I intend to hire him again and again and highly recommend him above any other contractor. I donât worry about the quality of his work. If itâs personal service you need⦠Salvage a stalled remodel project⦠Someone reliable... This is the guy!
I had some rotting wood trim around my front windows as a result of shoddy workmanship and inferior materials used by the builder. The wood rot compromised the seal of my window. Our initial thoughts and what Darrin planned on was a simply replacing the wood trim and remediation the seal around the widows. However, once Darrin started working, he discover the wood exterior was rotten on both sides of the Windows to the studs. Darrin showed me every discovery he made so I knew I was likely in store for more than I had originally planned. The result was removal of over 3/4 of the siding; repair of the wood exterior; wrapping the wood exterior in Tyvek as it was not previously wrapped: replacing the wood trim with quality cedar; putting the trim back and finally sealing the wood trim to ensure no future leaks. Not only was Darrin diligent and thorough in his work, but surprisingly affordable for the amount of work he completed. I would not recommend the builder (Rockford Homes) but have already recommended Darrin to a co-worker with similar issues from the same builder.
Doug was professional, reasonable, and did a good job on the repair of trim on our house.
Sam did an excellent job remodeling our basement. Including flooring, lighting, installation of French door, stonework on the bar, bathroom remodel and drywall repair. It's now my favorite room in the house! I spend the majority of my time in my basement. I highly recommend Sam for any of your remodeling needs. I trusted him in my home. He is neat and picked up after himself everyday. I'm a difficult person to please when it comes to remodeling and he exceeded and went past my expectations.
Jared and his team did a great job painting my home. They were all very friendly and got the job done in a timely manner. I would recommend Jared's crew to anyone's home who is looking to get it painted. They painted the trim and doors of the whole house and they looked so brand new. I had a change in my request that I had shared with him on adding a job to the list. I asked him to cut the trim I had already purchased for my kitchen cabinets. There was a very difficult cut that i just could not get right and he was happy to finish the project for me. I am very thankful for Jared and his crew because now I have a home that I am happy to set foot in. Thanks Knight Construction LLC. :D
Total bathroom remodel on my 1920s home. Completely new design, new fixtures, porcelain tile floor, drywall, baseboard, paint, etc. He enlarged our bathroom drastically by taking 2/3 of a walk-in closet and installed a beautiful tile shower. BEST PART: our gorgeous custom handcrafted live-edge wood vanity!!! Joel has an art degree and it SHOWS!! We're getting so many compliments. Also the tile floor is PERFECT and he worked with us to source quality materials that fit our budget. He's also better at communicating with us than other contractors we've known. He really cares about his work and was realistic about estimates and time frames (the job took longer than we expected but he was upfront every step of the way). If you're tired of "big-box" decor and want something unique, we definitely recommend Joel for design, remodeling, and custom work!
Curt has done all our house painting for us since 2004. Curt recently has done all the painting and repairs to our home before it was put on the market. It included wall paper removal, drywall repair, exterior door replacement and interior and exterior painting. He is fast, neat and very reasonably priced. We hope to get him to come to NC and work on our new house.
Took down a drop ceiling, installed recessed lighting and drywall ceiling. quote was given and work completely quickly within 2 weeks. Owners were onsight often and made a repair on part of the project I did not notice. Price was reasonable and the work was done very well.
John with Handyman@Large has always been a reliable person who treated us fairly and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any remodeling/repair job you may have.
To whom it may concern: I am pleased to offer the highest possible recommendation for Mr. Fiala based on our recent experience with his work. My husband and I contracted with Mr. Fiala in August 2016 to repair significant damage to the exterior of our house and our roof. The project was completed that month and we are fully satisfied with the results. My husband and I are both CPAs. As such, we are very demanding, detail-oriented, and budget-centric. We contracted with Mr. Fiala after inadequate and frustrating interactions with two other contractors. Mr. Fiala promptly provided a complete and accurate quote; completed the project on-time, in budget, and with sharp attention to detail; maintained excellent communication with us and was a pleasure to work with from start to finish; and overall exceeded all of our expectations. I am confident you will be satisfied with Mr. Fiala’s work.
We do all phases of interior and exterior repairs such as window sealants, urethane, Dow Corning, Sonneborn, and Tremco. We do art staining, one of a kind custom murals, and beauty consulting. Our work speaks for itself -- anything that isn't out of the box of ideas.
My work stands out above the rest because of the pride I take into it. I make sure the customer is aware of any underlying issues, if we find them. I will make suggestions if a different option would benefit the customers needs more. I perform work for others as if it was my own home. I have never had to advertise because my customers are always happy with the job I have completed for them.
