Hired to install two replacement pre-hung doors. Had difficulty getting scheduled, then work was postponed. Contractor did not examine work to be done before getting started, so failed to see and thus cut through alarm system wires and ruined alarm system spring switch necessitating service call by security company. (Did some of the work free of charge, but value of work uncharged did not equal cost of security company service call.) Left small annoyances, like improperly installed lock (claimed lock was defective; I later found a piece of the mechanism that had been left out of the lock as reinstalled), installed another lock mechanism upside down so I will have to remove and reinstall, and installed strike plate screws crookedly so door jams against them when closed (I will have to remove, clear the screw holes and reinstall). Seems like a nice guy, but the quality of the work was not sufficient to warrant rehiring. I'd like to give a better review, but I can't.
